Apparently Republican presidents aren't allowed to tell their AG and FBI directors what to do. The DOJ and the FBI are "independent", don't you know. They're like a fourth (unconstitutional) branch of government, answerable to nobody but the leftist politics of the Deep State. And make no mistake about it, Wray and Sessions believe that. They state that they are "independent" (from Trump), during confirmation hearings. Being "independent" (from Trump) is the is the magic password to get confirmed.
And if Trump fires Wray and Sessions for insubordination, we have a Big Deep State Media that would call it obstruction (of the Mueller investigation) and we have a Congress that may want to impeach.

I don’t know why there is a controversy over how elections can be safeguarded. All that is necessary is voter ID and voting that leaves a paper trail with all computerized machines outlawed.
The last time I voted in Texas was in 2000. The Texas system had paper ballots that the voter bubbled in. Quick, efficient, and the vote tallies were lightning fast. Much more secure than a computerized touch screen.
Should be mandatory nation wide.

Kind of tired of hearing this from Trump. Trump appointed Sessions. Sessions serves at Trump’s pleasure. If anyone should be “asking Sessions”, it needs to be Trump.
The contention was that they were the hackers of the Dem accounts. Nothing to do with Mueller's indictments.

Additionally, if appoints a bulldog, Senate approval is required and we know that likely won't happen.
Makes you wonder if Sessions gave the Senate a recusal guarantee before the vote.
Yup. I came to realize that the lot of ‘em, Cruz, Rubio, Jindal, Haley, they all have a little internationalist twist to their political personas. It’s subtle, but it’s there.

This President came into office with the entire Democrat party, most of the Republican Party, most of the main stream media and Hollywood screaming hate 24/7 along with a fake investigation rigged so that any action against the DOJ, FBI would be challenged as obstruction of justice and yet...
He has managed to get the economy moving again.
He managed to get us all a tax break
He managed to pull us out of several bad agreements.
He managed to get new judges swore in
But you are not happy. Boo hoo
Could it be that there are things going on behind the scenes you (or I don’t know)
Could it be that the President had to wait until the fake investigation has fallen apart (like it has)
Could it be that he is (as they say in the military) preparing the battlefield.
If the President would have attempt to begin investigating Obama and Hillary a year ago, the media (and Democrats ) would have called for his impeachment and the Republicans would have gone along with it.
Why not wait and see how this all turns out before giving in

So, the question boils down to: what is Trump going to do about it? In my mind, there's really only two logical conclusions:
- Trump really didn't want to be president that badly. Sure, it sounded good in theory, but as things rolled along, well, lookey at what happened. When Sessions & RR pulled the one-two sting with recusal and SC appointment, Trump realized he was check mated. So, fearful of impeachment, he's just going along to get along, hoping to get out in 4 years without the historical record reflecting too badly.
- Trump is playing 4D chess and waiting for all the pieces to come together. This is the furious, vindictive Trump that his supporters expect, willing to go down with the ship as an acceptable risk towards winning CWII. Personally, I support this second conclusion, and so constantly refrain from Sessions bashing by trusting Trump.
But at some point, Trump is going to have to show his hand. We know he has till October - just 7 months away. Either way, we will know by November if Trump is either the wrong guy (ie all bluster), or belongs aside with Washington & Lincoln as the savior of the republic.
