Revisit my comment, and emphasize "it could go either way." Your post provided a "Sessions is confilcted" argument.

So, who in the world should be picking this up? And if Sessions is conflicted out, why criticise him for inaction?

Revist my comment. It was a post that pointed out that Sessions recused himself from all investigations connected to Hillary. My criticism of Sessions is that he has left Rosenstein in charge of those investigations.

Better to fire Rosenstein and pick somebody else as the DAG.

“He’ll yes. Trump is finally pointing out the huge wart on Obama’s ass. Best POTUS ever!”

You nailed it. Each week Trump puts another 1/4 turn on the screw.

Steady as she goes.

That works for me. So would recusing the whole damn FBI/DOJ, provided an acceptable person can be identified to prosecute team DEM.

Yes, what Hannity asked the other night after showing a video of Obama saying that Russian meddling was a big nothing burger.

Confiscate the $145 million the Clinton got from the Canadian front group for the Russians.

Have the Clintons demand the money back.
Do something instead of twittering away the presidency.

I got a 3-day timeout on reddit @The_Donald for saying sessions is worthless and needs to be fired. Seems the Q-laid drinkers (”Trust Sessions!”) are everywhere.

Maybe they’ll give POTUS a timeout.

"Why aren’t Dem crimes under investigation? Ask Jeff Sessions!” Mr. Trump tweeted.

There it is. I hope all the Sessions supporters take notice.

Mr. President, respectfully, Jeff Sessions is your employee, if he is not acting as you would wish, fire him!

Think about it. If there weren't some very compelling reason to stay his hand, don't you think the President would have fired Sessions by now?

Firing Sessions would obviously result in some serious repercussions, or the President would have cut him loose last summer, when he first began voicing complaints about him.

Sessions works for the President. Shouldn't Trump be the one asking him?

He just did. In a very public way.

All I hear is talk from Donald Trump. Over a year in and nothing. Not a single crook arrested.

You think it's the President's job to investigate, charge, and arrest bad guys?

You'd do better to ask AG Sessions why he hasn't rescinded his recusal, and started doing his job!

He has the ability to tell Sessions to do your job or be fired publicly. He can go on tv and mention all what we know.
He is allowing the corrupt news media to fashion the news and coverup the crimes.

Trump has a demonstrably disloyal employee, who is more than likely being blackmailed by the deep state, ensconced in the office of AG.

If the President exercises his authority to fire him, it will likely set in motion an obstruction of justice case against him, which would likely lead to his impeachment.

I can guarantee you that Trump and his closest allies understand the political dynamics at work in this situation, even if many of his supporters do not.

“Regardless of who won, isn’t the meddling alone enough reason to take steps against Russia?”

We likewise meddle in other elections.
Now what kind of putative steps would you like to take vs Russia?

That said...
Notice that the indictments were not for actual _meddling_, but for basic crimes like money laundering, wire fraud, and ID theft ... while taking pains to state that the election was not, in fact, affected.
So what, pray tell, are you “taking steps against Russia” for?
