In the aftermath of the Wednesday's deadly school shooting in Parkland, Florida politicians and pundits alike are using the tragedy as an opportunity to push for gun control legislating and demonizing anyone who opposes such laws as evil, inhumane monsters solely motivated by NRA lobbying dollars.
Given the immediate climate of scaremongering, it's worth pointing out that to this day, the deadliest school massacre was committed not with a gun, but a bomb. [snip]
... No government can provide perfect safety to all of its citizens. The reality of modern life is that killers have an arsenal of possible tools at their disposal to wreak havoc. [snip]
{Bath, Michigan -May 18, 1927 There were 44 people (mainly children) killed and dozens very seriously injured.}

Two disgruntled 8th grade honor students decided to punish their hated science teacher. They built a bomb. On Friday, they placed it in the ceiling tile area and rigged the bomb electrically to the science room's light switch. They intended to blow their science teacher and the room on Monday morning.

Fortunately, on Saturday, the janitor noticed something dripping from the ceiling and climbed his ladder to inspect. The bomb squad came and the boys were quickly caught and expelled, facing serious consequences. This was 20 years ago in Broward County Florida, a few miles from Parkland.
While the police declared the bomb had been fully operable, its explosion would not have blown up their science teacher. Unbeknownst to those two 8th grade boys, their science room was always used for children’s Sunday School classes.

It’s not about this event. It’s about the 2018 election and firing up the Democrat voters. This has the marks of an Obama/Soros operation. Just as he used Trayvon Martin and Ferguson to create a division over a false narrative and used it in his 2012 reelection, they have latched on to this Florida shooting and will ride it for months in order to try to get the House back. It is story no. 1 for at least a month.
The fact is, you could ban all guns tomorrow and the kids who didn’t have illegal ones would still find ways to kill kids if they are crazy like the school shooters always are. The easiest alternative is to use a vehicle and plow through a crowd. Some more ambitious ones might build a bomb. There’s always poison, knives, fire, whatever. It’s not about the method, it’s about the madness. The left knows that but they want us disarmed for other reasons.
Seriously, a sample of one is not a sample.
Look for better arguments, they are extant.
Kehoe, an electrician, had previously worked on the school and had rigged explosives through the buildings in the weeks leading up to the attack. His timer device in one part of the building failed, so children in those rooms survived.
In the immediate aftermath of the school explosion, Kehoe set off another bomb in his car, killing himself and several others nearby. Prior to the school explosion, he had murdered his wife and set his own farm on fire.
His motive was anger at a foreclosure on his farm, and the taxes levied by the township to pay for the new school.
The 1927 bomber was a local guy who was ticked-off over his property taxes.
A fatal, single-passenger airplane crash creates more headlines than a fatal, single-passenger automobile crash, because it’s more dramatic and unusual.
The latest numbers I could find in a quick search says that in 2010, twelve kids died every day from underage alcohol consumption. That’s EVERY DAY—day in and day out. Underage drinking is against the law in every state and yet it takes place and it takes lives. But like a car crash, since it’s so common, there is no national uproar—it’s just considered a part of life.
A 1958 fire at Our Lady of the Angels, a Catholic elementary school in Chicago, claimed the lives of 87 children and 3 nuns. A troubled boy confessed to having set the fire in the basement at the foot of a stairwell. For some reason he was not charged, but if this fire was indeed arson, that would make this the worst school mass murder in history by a wide margin.
Unlike today in Florida, where the Parkland school building where the massacre occurred will be demolished, the school in the 1927 bombing was repaired, and the kids went back to classes there. The wimpification of America rolls on.
Even the news coverage of the 1927 bombing was truncated by Charles Lindbergh’s trans-Atlantic solo flight a few days later. Yes, there were news cycles before the internet.
I bet right now some young idiot has plans of stealing a fuel or propane truck.
Before Andrew Kehoe married, his stepmother was killed when her stove malfunctioned and lit her on fire. He waited a few minutes then, half-heartedly, attempted to help her.
His neighbors suspected that he rigged the stove. It was known that he detested his stepmother and he possessed the knowledge to fix the stove to malfunction the way he desired it to.
Its a shame that not many Americans know about Andrew Kehoe. He was truly a monster. Once, he even beat his own horse to death.

To liberals/progressives: it is never the inanimate object doing the killing. It’s the person using whatever object in a criminal manner that is the killer.
Liberalism is the most deadly assault weapon against humanity in all of history.
The mindset today: When I get all jiggly and fat, I will blame my spoon.
