You think you can just barge in, (late, I might add), and get a #50?!?

Yup.

Fallen down on the job too much lately and paid attention this time. The 100 will be here soon enough .....

How wuz your day? Still freezing?
Still warm and windy here but dry. Tomorrow will be another story. Wet, wet, and more wet.

Just go ahead and make the salivary glands work harder. That syrup is bound to be a lot better than anything we can get our hands on around here. Mmm, mmm, mmm!

WOW! Y’all are really on a wild roller coaster, aren’t you? That’s a heck of a temperature swing!

Beautiful, not so much. It was cloudy but the sun peeked through a couple of times. But it was dry again, and warm. Only 75 rather than the promised 80 degrees but it still felt niiiiiiice.

Rain comes in tomorrow and we’ll be squishy for the next several days.

It's COLD! We had about a 1/2 inch of sleet, (not snow), fall over the last hour, at least it won't melt and refreeze to make my morning commute too slick.

Son came over early this morning and we had a big breakfast and then he hung and did homework until a few hours ago.

It's suppose to stay winter-ish for awhile, oh well.

You have a warmer day?

Howdy, Kathy.

By chance will you have another homework-free evening? Hope so!

Howdy, Sky! Glad you could play! Can’t beat maple syrup on a waffle.

I’m hungry! LOL!

Yuck! Snow is preferable to sleet any day. That’s going to be plenty slick in the morning as it is. Be careful and watch out for the nutjobs who won’t drive slowly.
Guess it’s your turn to have a little winter. We had plenty and are happy to swap with ya for a bit. :-)

It was the same today as yesterday. If it hadn’t been cloudy, we might have gotten the 80 degrees they said we’d have. But it still felt good at 75 and it made grocery shopping almost fun.

75 is probably the perfect temperature. Maybe not for February, but by July, I’ll LONG for 75. LOL! We might get that at midnight on a summer night. :)

Glad you could enjoy the warmer temps. Is it supposed to get colder there after a few days of nice weathre? Hope not. I think you’re OVER winter.

75 is a perfect temp ANY time of year.
It was delightful the past two days, that’s for sure.

We’ll cool down just a little over the next week but it’ll still be pretty nice . . . 60s and 70s for highs and upper 50s for lows. Mid 40s for lows early next week.

Just wish it wasn’t going to be so wet. Feast or famine.

I was over winter before it started. LOL! But we still have more in store, no question about that.

It’s cooled down quite a bit here since dark. GThe thermometer said about 69 last time I checked it, but now Weatherbug is saying 47 with a WCF of 39. I still don’t even have sox on, but I haven’t been out in 2 hours. LOL!

Ghost came twice today when I called his name. I guess that’s progress! His foot appears to be well, but I sure wish his poor ears didn’t look so chewed up. I’d love to clean them with cotton balls or something, but that ain’t happening any time soon. :)

Hope your warm weather continues....and you can send that rain to us!

Can’t lose with maple syrup! Looks like most have gotten that result.

Though sprinkling powdered sugar on top of the syrup would be mighty yummy. That’s how I eat French toast and mmmmmmm, oo-la-la!

"You Are Powdered Sugar"
What Waffle Topping Are You?
Blogthings: 100's of Fun, Free Quizzes!

You are mellow and low-key. You may have a lot going on, but you don't feel the need to brag or boast. You are very self-reliant and have no problem taking care of yourself. And you are happy to let others have the spotlight. You are focused, skilled, and detail oriented. You get a lot of satisfaction from your work and intellectual pursuits. You enjoy doing small things to make others happy, even if (especially if) they don't notice. You are always thoughtful.

Bah Humbug! Butter Pecan and nothing else!!!!!!!!

Oh, yeeeaaahhh....powdered sugar on French Toast is the best! I haven’t had any of that for so long, I can’t even remember when it was. LOL!

Powdered sugar is also good on French crepes. We had some from a street vendor in Paris once [when we were stationed in Germany], and I never forgot the yummy taste! Simple but delish!

Ooooo, BRRR! The temp IS dropping pretty quickly there, isn’t it? It’s still 70 here and we have windows cracked open in most of the rooms.

Good for Ghost! He’s slowly coming around. You’ll win him over before you know it.

Wish we COULD shove some of the rain back in your direction. We could really use a little longer break from it, especially in west TN. There will be problems over there the next couple of days.

I haven’t made French toast in quite a while either.
We don’t eat eggs all that often so they aren’t a staple in the fridge. Wish I’d gotten a half dozen this afternoon. There’s bread, powdered sugar and syrup in the cabinet. Darn the luck.
