Theres no defense like a good offense.
For weeks the unfolding story in Washington has been how a cabal of conspirators in the heart of the American federal law enforcement and intelligence apparat colluded to ensure the election of Hillary Clinton and, when that failed, to undermine the nascent presidency of Donald Trump. Agencies tainted by this corruption include not only the FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) but the Obama White House, the State Department, the NSA, and the CIA, plus their British sister organizations MI6 and GCHQ, possibly along with the British Foreign Office (with the involvement of former British ambassador to Russia Andrew Wood) and even Number 10 Downing Street.
Those implicated form a regular rogues gallery of the Deep State: Peter Strzok (formerly Chief of the FBIs Counterespionage Section, then Deputy Assistant Director of the Counterintelligence Division; busy bee Strzok is implicated not only in exonerating Hillary from her email server crimes but initiating the Russiagate investigation in the first place, securing a FISA warrant using the dodgy Steele Dossier, and nailing erstwhile National Security Adviser General Mike Flynn on a bogus charge of lying to the FBI); Lisa Page (Strzoks paramour and a DOJ lawyer formerly assigned to the all-star Democrat lineup on the Robert Mueller Russigate inquisition); former FBI Director James Comey, former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr, former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, and lets not forget current Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, himself implicated by having signed at least one of the dubious FISA warrant requests. Finally, theres reason to believe that former CIA Director John O. Brennan may have been the mastermind behind the whole operation.

Time for the FBI to be defunded. We got along fine for 135 years without the FBI.
Putin is laughing his ass off...guaranteed.
What would all those Democrats do without their job?
Meanwhile back in Washington, Attorney General Sessions is on the job and hard at it.....when he is not napping.
Why is everybody questioning Russia when we should be asking Ms. May what the hell was going on.
FBI - Look squirrel!!
Exactly! Why hasn’t anyone questioned the British roll in trying to influence our election? Does anyone really think that the very public debate in Parliament as to whether or not to ban candidate/President Trump from Britain wasn’t staged to lend a hand to democrats and our leftist media?
The British gave our media multiple anti-Trump talking points to bash an American candidate during an election. Least we forget that the British couldn’t get on their knees fast enough to praise Obama regardless of the insults he dished out to them.
I have always suspected the Brits being behind the Russian story. Well, we know one was and a very important one at that. Is Steele really an ex-agent? Or is that a cover? Yet the MSM hasn’t even thought about it much less said anything about it. (And I truly think they are too dumb to notice that Britain interfered in our election.) They absolutely loathe Trump except for a few comments on the Daily Telegraph from ordinary conservative Brits.
Mueller has successfully revitalized the tainted election narrative. Thanks Sessions. McMaster helps too.
"...pro forma holder of that office, Jeff Sessions (R-Recused)" would be funny if it wasn't so painful.
I have too, and not for the first time either. I thought very odd that Theresa May hot-footed over here right after the inauguration to visit with Trump. What was that all about? I suspect she came over to smooth tattered relationships.
The British interfere much to much in our business. I occasionally read a British newspaper and often wonder if they have any news of their own to cover or is it all US all of the time?
They are utterly obsessed with us. It’s sick. It’s like a failed lover who stalks and kills his ex-lover. The Guardian is to Americans what Der Sturmer was to Jews. It’s that bad.
I think you have nailed it, “a failed lover who stalks...”
I also believe that the so-called “special relationship” only exists when they need us for something otherwise they can be quite abusive, insulting, and critical.
Friends don’t take friends to the woodshed as often as the British take us.
There is no special relationship. The Brits say it exists only in the minds of the British government. Perhaps they are right. Most Americans don’t even think of the Brits. Those of us who do are horrified by what we see and read.
I sure didn’t feel very “special” while over there one could cut the contempt with a knife. I found their behavior towards Canadians to be even worse.
There may have been some affection after the war, but that is long gone and today relations are so bad that asking the average Brit who did more to aid the allies in WWII and they quickly tell you that the Russians did far more than we did.
We didn’t leave Europe, Europe/Britain left us.
Oh, that’s a new tactic in anti-Americanism: the Russians won the war! While our GIs swanned around London handing out candy bars so that their women would sleep with them. Just shows you how mis-educated they are - much like our own youth.
Were you recently there? If you’d like, you can pm me and we can talk. I lurk on a British ex-pat site (they collect big paychecks here but despise America) and it is UGLY.
Yes, I was very surprised the first time I heard that. It is based on the fact that the Russians took more casualties than we did. I thought maybe they suffered more losses because the only weapons that the Soviets had were their bodies.
I was last in Britain in 2014, although I did spend more time in France and Switzerland.
That’s the reason they think they won the war? Patton said the way to win a war, to paraphrase, was to make the other bastard suffer more losses. Brits are confused.
Oh you are kind, “confused”? How about just mean-spirited? LOL.
