Folks, it's past time we start actively fighting against the biased mainstream media (MSM). I suggest the following:
It would be a non-profit organization to research and publicize the wrong and biased reports we see every day by the MSM. While Media Research Center and others do good work, they fail to reach the masses. I believe they are old school who hasn't realized the benefits of social media.
Most of us here are very Constitutionally aware and know how effective President Trump has used social media. However, I suggest such an organization be non-partisan and transparently neutral. No media nor politicians should be exempt.
We could build a website and conduct street activism for the indoctrinated adult/student to understand our long workable principles, values, and way of life that the World has copied many times over.
I would be happy to front such efforts as the over-all coordinator, as I did for the first Free Republic rally called, "March For Justice".
If you still want to contribute and not just read, here is a way. We will never take our beloved Country back from the 50% who strive to become a socialist nation until they understand that the MSM is biased and actually makes things up.

They and other institutions/bureaucracies/individuals would be subject to the Truth In Journalism...or whatever name you suggest to cover All Truth. No one nor any entity would be immune. ALL would be subjected to our researchers, writers, who are incorruptible volunteers.
All are welcomed, including any Democrat that wants to know the absolute truth (facts) of an issue. Again, non-partisan and completely transparent.

I admire the fundamental idea you have, but I have long held the view that there are 2/3 or more of the Left that we will never be able to reach, ever. It doesn’t matter how logically based or fundamentally sound our viewpoints are, we will never, ever be able to reach the majority of Leftists, especially those who are inclined to be politically involved on their side to “move the needle” for them.
A large portion of those people on the Left will never repudiate their Leftist views, especially those at the very top. It is rare that they switch sides. A notable example of one who actually did would be a man such as David Horowitz, to whom it took a murder of a friend and co-worker by the Left he gave his life to in order to make him see the light. And he is very, VERY intelligent man.
There is another even larger group who are disinclined to change, and often only a violent “mugging” (literally. a REAL mugging or assault) can get them to change their minds, and sometimes even not then. These are the sptittle-lipped, fever-faced true believing foot soldiers of the left. The Social Justice Warriors fall into this group, as do the MoveOn types, Code Pinkos, et al. They believe in the inherent good in man, they really do, even if they don’t believe in God, almost universally.
Those two groups added together make a somewhat impenetrable bloc of leftists.
There are some we can talk to. possibly change their minds, but those are generally the “Good Hearted Liberals (who may be open-minded and somewhat receptive by default) politically apathetic people who get mugged (and are then wide open to change) and young people, who start out as leftists, but once they start raising a family of their own, can become conservative.)

I readily acknowledge that this is somewhat pessimistic towards your idea, and basically so because I think there are always an inexhaustible supply of budding leftists to whom the siren song of “Equality of Cultures and Equality of Outcome” are completely tied to each other and present to the weak minded and gullible an irresistible combination of a multicultural one-world-government utopian dream.
WE understand there is never, and will never be an equality of outcome. We fully comprehend that not all cultures are equal. And we recognize that multiculturalism is a toxic poison that will corrode and destroy any human container it is placed in.
The bottom line is, Leftists believe that Good People can govern absolutely, and WE know we do not want to be governed absolutely by Good People because of the diminishment of freedom inherent in that contract. And they will NEVER understand why we don’t buy 100% into their idea of what government should be.

Sadly, I believe since the advent of the Sixties Radicals in American Politics, we have been at war with people who are not Americans who have American values as we do...the American Left.
I apologize, my post did not suit what you are looking for, I suspect. I don’t want to throw any cold water on your idea, because I think we need people who can take this approach and try it.
I just don’t think I can. My heart is hardened to the Left. It has been since the 1960’s, and I sincerely don’t think I could overcome it.
I kind of wish in retrospect I hadn’t posted that last post, because it isn’t useful. You are looking for people who will say “We Can!” and all I could contribute was “We Cannot!”

I wish I understood how the Rush Limbaugh show is bookended by the very liberal ABC Radio News. I still listen to Rush on our local AM radio station. I have written and called them several times to request they drop ABC Radio News.

Good thoughts and I agree with most of your post. One thing we have to take in to account is only about 20% of Americans self-identify with being on these liberal/statist side of things.
This is where the Alinsky playbook has come in to play making them look like a bigger presence than they really are. The problem is so many of this 20% or so is in powerful places of influence, like our government, education, corporations, the media, the entertainment industry and so on. This is where the focus needs to be in order to turn this culture around.
Until we break their hold on the positions of influence, they still have enough influence to hold on to this power they have over the American sheeple. I do believe President Trump is doing everything he can to try to break their evil hold over these sheeple but it will take solutions by the Patriots or We the People, to help him bring that around as we are a much bigger presence than the 20% who hold all that corrupt power.

How about change the narrative? Instead of the other side’s screaming about “gun control” let’s emphasize the REAL issue, mental health.
I appreciate your drive to help America, and I agree with your premise.
Problem - millions are oblivious to facts and unwilling to think critically. Most are not aware that the MSM is not news. Neither is FB, Hollywood, or late night comedians.
Solution - Present facts (real news) to an uninterested market. Teach critical thinking.
The key is how to get real facts in front of unwilling eyes. Ironically, the easiest way is through meme’s. Why? Most Americans have a short attention span and have no interest in learning something new. As an example, think about the climate change argument. Ask any believer to give one example proving climate change. They cannot explain it. For decades academia and politicians have repeated ‘climate change will kill everyone’ to great effect. Many believe it and don’t have a clue why.
Engage with your neighbor or coworker. Ask what they believe in. Then ask thoughtful questions about it. For example, gun control stance to ban the AR-15. Follow up with ‘What do we do about future shootings after the AR-15 is banned? How do we get AR-15’s off the street after banning it?’ That is the quickest and most efficient way to make someone start asking questions about their own beliefs (introduction to critical thinking). And they will realize they have been lied to. After that, they will seek facts and real news on their own.
Bottom line, it’s always supply and demand. The MSM would not exist if there wasn’t a willing audience and neither would FR. Another FR (so to speak) will not attract the unwilling. It will take subtle and targeted communication amongst neighbors and coworkers to wake these people up. Teaching critical thinking is the answer and it always starts with asking the question “Why”.

Please do not misunderstand my post as a ‘party-pooper’. I agree with your mission, I only wanted to offer a different approach. I’ve had some success with it and some failures. It takes a delicate approach. I want a better America.
Sigh. I think and hope you are right, as I tend to fall into the trap. I live in a Blue State, so that probably has something to do with it.

How DO we break their hold in the media/entertainment/education arenas? Their overwhelming bias and need for titillating/bad news in order to exist has long been evident to me, and I get unnecessarily aggravated when other people don’t see it.
I have taken to disparaging the intellectual capability (internally) of people who can’t see it, and that isn’t a good starting point.
I would truly love to see your idea succeed, but I don’t think I have either the required skill set, or attitude to help you in this endeavor.
Unfortunately for me, in my world things are either WHITE/BLACK—RIGHT/WRONG—GOOD/BAD, for me there are no GRAY areas in life.
I have been told by some people that this attitude limits my ability to see things from a different perspective, and as I have told those people for 68 years “I DON’T CARE”.

"Mental Health" is NOT the issue. The issue is, regardless of the circumstances around these mass shootings, the ONLY remedy the left will permit is gun control.
When they can't get gun control, they loose interest in doing ANYTHING about correcting the circumstances that gave a crazed shooter safe and unrestricted access to a mass of unarmed victims.
These facts should be kept "front and center" by ANYONE who opposes the gun control agenda.
It is very frustrating. The more I think about it the more I think we ought to drag all these people in positions of power in these places of influence, out of their offices and tar and feather them. But then I come back to reality that at least we still respect a civil solution.
I do think social medias have done wonders to red pill Americans to a degree. It goes around the enemedia where people are free to discuss things. Maybe we need to focus more on that. The bad thing is Soro's Open Society, Moveon.org, and Media Matters all have their leftist trolls out there on all kinds of social medias trying to squash any truths.
President Trump's executive order is going to go a long way in helping the money for those trolls to dry up eventually. The battles for now can be on the social medias. When I battle leftist trolls, I don't do it to convert them because most of them are a lost cause, I do it for those who are reading and paying attention. It's those you might end up winning over and red-pilling.

LOL, I admit, tarring/feathering is high on the list, but I know we won’t do that...
This is one of the reasons I am all for President Trump tweeting-it completely circumvents the media, which loses its ability to “translate” for the American public, and all they can do is comment on it instead of filtering it and presenting it.

I will deal with the legal entity and apply to the IRS for non-profit status. I've done it before in my private company and helped with VetsCoR. The original dedicated 5 committee members would be on the Board of Directors if so please.
This will be an all volunteer organization with no monetary compensation. When it grows large enough where we need professionals to manage/administer/promote/solicit funding, that will be addressed, along with any compensation for volunteers.

This is long overdue to teach the social media Millennial/Gen-X phone addicts the Truth in Journalism. President Trump used it to win the Oval Office. He continues to get his message out via social media. We need to build on that in a non-partisan objective way to counter the spin, parsing, and outright lies the MSM feeds our Republic.
Also, all volunteers should be beyond reproach in their personal lives. A divorce or other minor situations are acceptable, depending on the Committee. All participants will be vetted.
