Prominent? Never even heard of this guy
Unless you were involved in Jeb Bush's presidential campaign, where Hoffman donated prominently, it's unlikely you would have heard of him.
By "Prominent Republican Donor" they actually mean a guy who gave millions to Jeb Bush (and maybe tossed a few crumbs to a handful of others).
Also, don't forget that Jeb's brother promised to renew the previous AWB that expired under his watch if Congress was willing to put a bill on his desk.
