A North Carolina mom started serving a week-long jail sentence for having her daughter baptized, according to reports.
The 2016 baptism at St. Peter’s Catholic Church when the girl was 2 years old defied a judge’s order in a custody battle between unmarried couple, Kendra Stocks and Paul Schaaf, who are no longer together.

NORTH CAROLINA STATE CONSTITUTION -— ARTICLE I; Sec. 13. Religious liberty.
All persons have a natural and inalienable right to worship Almighty God according to the dictates of their own consciences, and no human authority shall, in any case whatever, control or interfere with the rights of conscience.
The judge could not legitimately under NC law, issue an order to prohibit it.

Get back to me on that when her sentence is overturned.
Heh -— If anything, it seems obvious that the judiciary and “justice department” are all too willing to ignore constitutional constraint.
The 10th amendment is a little troublesome for most people. Wolves and sheep...
