And they know that’s what most of the left wants to hear, too. If the left didn’t take the lies, they wouldn’t be getting away with it. I know from talking to them all the time they don’t care what the actual facts are, but appearances and having control over what the country (and world) thinks is fact is what matters. They want to hear whatever sounds bad for Republicans and sounds good for them, regardless of the truth. I left comments elsewhere the other day about how “Anglo American” referred to England and America getting much of our legal system from there, and there were a number of stories saying that in the Democratic PAC media, but so many liberals just insulted me, called me names, and told me what Jeff Sessions said was racist, case closed for them.

The correct action by the US president should have been to increase the DEFCON Level to 3

It is an attack!

[Wow, interfering in American politics.]

Yes, we can indict Hillary, Obama, Comey, Rice, McCabe.....

They REALLY interfered in American politics in a criminal way with the FISA fraud and the millions of dollars.

Russian trolls have been at this since 2014, before Trump announced. Their goal was not to get a certain person elected, but to capitalize on vulnerabilities within our society and electoral process to stir what little chaos they can. Even our arguments between each other on this board are reflective of their goals...

If you choose to spend a meaningful amount of time in Russia, you will witness the circus-nature of their elections and the dysfunctional “democracy” they’ve failed to forge following the collapse of the USSR. Think Blue State/Red States are bad? Modern Russia is also very divided: they have outright Islamic republic outposts like Chechnya within their own territory that they must to keep happy and stable.

In 2014, we were at our weakest as a nation under Obama, but they were aggressively doping their way through Sochi Olympics, annexing Crimea and invading East Ukraine, and preparing for Syria...

Yet even all those actions can’t hide make up for their lingering insecurities...so this is their outlet: sabotage stronger countries they envy and resent however they can.

So for $100 million we found some Russians trolling the net. Shocking.

So if any of us U.S. citizens posted anti-Putin things on the Internet, could we be indicted in Russia of trying to interfere with Russian elections? Just wondering.

Nonsense — I saw Putin himself going down my street to the polling location, carrying a box full of votes for Trump.

(This is about as true as the other accusations about “Russian meddling” in the US election.)

Tell Soros and the foreign owners of every MSM outlet and social media outlets that. Somehow, I think this will be very selective illegality.

Wow, interfering in American politics. I guess that means we can start rounding up these illegal aliens in the U.S that are protesting U.S laws and policy and criminally charge them.
WOW, INDEED!! Excellent point. From your lips to G-D's ears!

16 Russians indicted

10s, 100s, or 1,000s of thousands of Mexican illegal aliens, no indictments.

Russian charged with advocating for Trump and for Clinton.

Mexican illegal aliens vote almost exclusively for Democrats. No indictments.

Illegal aliens are sworn by Leftists to be covered by our U. S. Constitution. Here though, the Russians are charged making it clear they have no first amendment rights.

Obama and Clinton sent U. S. citizens to interfere in Israel and Britain’s elections.

The people they sent over were professional campaign level operatives working for Leftists. I don’t see any hooting an hollering about abuses there.

The charges announced today, are a feakin joke!

What’s really outrageous is they have the gall to claim Russians interfered in the election when the media in this country relentlessly day and night pounded the hell out of Trump 100 to 1 over Hillary? Look at some of these headlines, and this is just one paper........

Statement from the Press Secretary Regarding the Russia Indictments

Foreign Policy

Issued on: February 16, 2018

Earlier today, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced indictments against 13 Russian nationals and 3 Russian entities for meddling in the 2016 Presidential election, which began in 2014 before the President declared his candidacy. President Donald J. Trump has been fully briefed on this matter and is glad to see the Special Counsel’s investigation further indicates—that there was NO COLLUSION between the Trump campaign and Russia and that the outcome of the election was not changed or affected.

President Trump says, “it is more important than ever before to come together as Americans. We cannot allow those seeking to sow confusion, discord, and rancor to be successful. It’s time we stop the outlandish partisan attacks, wild and false allegations, and far-fetched theories, which only serve to further the agendas of bad actors, like Russia, and do nothing to protect the principles of our institutions. We must unite as Americans to protect the integrity of our democracy and our elections.”
