The special counsel's office said Friday that a federal grand jury indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities in the probe into Russian interference in the 2016 elections.

The indictment says that the defendants allegedly, by early to mid 2016, were "supporting the presidential campaign of then-candidate Donald J. Trump ... and disparaging Hillary Clinton."

An announcement from special counsel Robert Mueller's office said that the government accuses all the defendants of conspiracy to defraud the United States. Three defendants are charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud. Five defendants are charged with aggravated identity theft.

I still see no details how this effected Trump. No how, when, where, why, and who. But we do know that this Federal government colluded with government Russian agents and falsified evidence to take down an elected US President. Yawwwwn Mueller.

Nothing to do with Trump...only some communications with UNWITTING campaign workers while not disclosing their ties to Russia.

In other words, a nothingburger related to the Trump campaign.

and disparaging Hillary Clinton.”

Like the Clinton Crime Machine was not disparaging Trump?

Of course, only Hillary and the DNC paid for their Russian collusion activities...

Just swell as this news absolutely makes this one of the greatest weeks in the history of the American left. Regardless of the seriousness of these “crimes” you will hear how this proves Trump was colluding with the Russians to subvert Hillary’s campaign. My suggestion...turn off the tube for a week or so.

I’m waiting to hear about Rooskies who cheered on Clinton. Or maybe those did it more professionally. Maybe all we have here is a clowder of clumsy Rooskie rednecks.

I’m waiting with bated breath for the “Mueller is working for Trump”, “Sessions is working behind the scene” crowd to explain away this.

Count 43. By 2016, Defendants and their co-conspirators used their fictitious online personas to interfere with the 2016 U.S. presidential election. They engaged in operations primarily intended to communicate derogatory information about Hillary Clinton, to denigrate other candidates such as Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, and to support Bernie Sanders and then-candidate Donald Trump.

Count One is a violation of 18 USC 371 - Conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud United States

If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

If, however, the offense, the commission of which is the object of the conspiracy, is a misdemeanor only, the punishment for such conspiracy shall not exceed the maximum punishment provided for such misdemeanor.

I haven't read the details, but expect there is NO underlying crime, and NO attempt to obtain money from the US under fraudulent pretext. This count of the indictment exists to support the narrative of "Russian interference in an election," which is not, per se, a crime. There is no allegation of a campaign taking illegal contributions, nor is there a claim that a foreign-owned paper (e.g., NYT) commits a crime by expressing an opinion.

Count Two is wire and bank fraud. Count Three is identity theft.

Indictment is by Mueller, personally.

Count Two is wire and bank fraud.

Same tactic they used against Awan to make sure he didn't get away.

There’s only one problem, they have to prove at least one or more overt acts that were accomplished by the conspirators. Where is proof that the activity actually interfered with the election and don’t tell me the proof is that Hitlery lost.

Count 53 is funny.

“United Muslims of America” to promote a rally called “Support Hillary. Save American Muslims” held on July 9, 2016.

Free speech isn’t a crime.

1st Amendment is an affirmative defense, even for foreigners.

SC Mueller invented a new crime out of whole cloth.

If its interference to be against Hillary Clinton - that’s the whole point of writing a blog and posting on social media.

Mueller may not like the Russians’ viewpoint but that’s a completely different issue from hacking votes.

And even he didn’t charge them with collusion! Its over.
