Russians indicted in special counsel's probe (truncated)
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/16/russians-indicted-in-special-counsel-robert-muellers-probe.html ^

The special counsel's office said Friday that a federal grand jury indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities in the probe into Russian interference in the 2016 elections.

The indictment says that the defendants allegedly, by early to mid 2016, were "supporting the presidential campaign of then-candidate Donald J. Trump ... and disparaging Hillary Clinton."

An announcement from special counsel Robert Mueller's office said that the government accuses all the defendants of conspiracy to defraud the United States. Three defendants are charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud. Five defendants are charged with aggravated identity theft.

I wonder if the DACA protests are funded by Russia.

The truncated title misses the real story, which is the actual title:
"Special counsel Mueller: Russians conducted 'information warfare' against US during election to help Donald Trump win"

So the Left is immediately spinning this as "Russians helped Trump win!"

I remember the ads & trolls. They were laughably, tragically INANE & INEPT & INCOMPETENT & IMPOTENT. They didn't "help Trump" at all.

The indictment makes clear there was no "collusion" with the Trump campaign. Insofar as there was communication, it was with "unwitting" individuals.
Interestingly, seems there's no mention of - or denial of - communication with Hillary campaign operatives.

So the Left remains committed to the narrative, finding any slight wiggle room to scream that there MIGHT have been collusion, that it DID help Trump.

Insofar as perhaps the conspiracy did intend to help Trump, the focus seemed on equalizing the contenders and inspiring unrest between them equally in both directions. Considering how the Left was promoting Hillary so hard, the conspirators - seeking discord, not wins - tried to bump up Trump to at least be equal enough to induce chaos & conflict.

Susan Rice’s email: Obama thought Trump was a Russian spy
Flopping Aces ^ | 02-14-18 | DrJohn
Posted on 2/14/2018 by Starman417

Susan Rice wrote an email and sent it to herself in the minutes during which Donald Trump was inaugurated.

The Senate Judiciary Committee is giving former Obama National Security Adviser Susan Rice until February 22 to answer questions relating to an email she sent to herself prior to exiting from the Obama administration. It occurred during President Trump’s inauguration. The email contains classified information, so it’s a partial disclosure from the Judiciary Committee, but it seems to show that on January 5, 2017, then-President Obama, Vice President Biden, then-FBI Director James Comey, and then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates had a meeting in the Oval Office about the fallout from the Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Here’s that letter. It concerned a meeting in which she participated on January 5, 2017. It’s very odd.

That Rice would write and send herself a letter at the exact time Trump was being inaugurated is strange by itself. But there are a couple of things that really jump out. One, obama was concerned that the incoming duly elected President was a Russian spy from whom intelligence should be kept:

Former President Barack Obama suggested in January 2017 that information related to a federal probe of Russian election interference might have to be withheld from aides to then-President-elect Donald Trump, according to an internal White House email released Monday by two senior GOP senators.
The warning Obama delivered on Jan. 5, 2017, came during an Oval Office conversation shortly after senior intelligence officials briefed him on Russian cyber-meddling in the 2016 election. It was documented in an email then-national security adviser Susan Rice sent to herself on Jan. 20, the day of Trump’s inauguration.

The meeting occurred on January 5 was heretofore was not known to the public. The attendees included “Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Rice deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, and (James) Comey.”

The very next day Comey met with Trump allegedly to give him a “heads-up” on the dossier which was going to be published in the near future.

Comey being at the meeting is a new revelation. His testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee never mentioned it:

OMG!!! Some of these Russians are charged with Identity Theft.

That’s interesting. Don’t we have 12 million (or 20 million) people on our American soil doing the very same thing? Some of these people attend political rallies (sometimes Riots) and I never hear of anyone being charged. Why not?

Remember the Vagina Demonstrations in Washington at the time of the inauguration? I wonder if Mueller has checked to see if some of these Russians were supporting any of this? That would be a major crime.

-- I wonder if the DACA protests are funded by Russia. --

Under the Mueller standard, they would be just as illegal if funded by Mexico, or undertaken by an alien (here legally or not makes no difference) acting in the US, unless the alien had registered under FARA.

It appears to me that the FBI and DOJ are selectively enforcing the law against people they have animus toward, and letting their friends skate. They just label it "prosecutorial discretion," and tell you to move on. Of course if you don't, you're next.

Hey Mueller, Hey Jeff Sessions, this Hail Mary by Mueller indicting Russian trolls is an absolute disgrace. Is this all Mueller has? Time to shut this 'by the book' manufactured crisis down.

Hat tip Liz:

It is possible that Obama, Rice, Farkas, Brennan, McCabe, Bill and Hillary and anyone else who colluded in this, and who saw the intel may have committed other federal offenses including but not limited to:

<><> Title 18 U.S.C. §1341, Mail Fraud, 18 U.S.C.§1001, no Presenting a False Document to an Agent of the US Government (involves several felonies and could include forgery);

<><> 18 U.S.C.§1027 False statements and concealment of facts in relation to documents required by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 and other possible offenses including civil and/or criminal RICO violations.

<><> 18 U.S.C. §§1961-68 (RICO Act)18 U.S.C. §1001 (making false Statements to Agents of the US Government),

<><> 18 U.S.C. §241(Conspiracies Against Civil Rights). Violation of Civil Rights under Color of law and conspiracy. Conspiring with others to violate Donald Trump and named other’s 4th amendment rights.

<><> Possibly full investigations centering on RICO conspiracies under 18 U.S.C. §1962(c) could be warranted because (1) the persons (2) were employed by or associated with an enterprise (3) that engaged in or affected interstate commerce and that (4) the persons operated or managed the enterprise (5) through a "pattern" (6) of racketeering activity, and (7) the taxpayers were injured by reason of the "pattern" of racketeering activity.

<><> Alleged Offenses could include Violation of Title 18 U.S.C. §2 41 – Conspiracy Against Constitutional Rights – which prohibits in relevant part, “two or more persons (from conspiring) to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same . . .” See, 18 U.S.C. §241. Taxpayers demand the following agencies commence investigations at once:

<><> FBI -- Wire Fraud Division

<><> IRS-Fraud Unit

<><> Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General,

<><> Department of Commerce’s Office of Inspector General.

<><> DOJ's Criminal Division-- Public Integrity Section

<><> DOJ Criminal Division--Organized Crime and Gang Section.

Hat tip Little Jeremiah:

Just think of a FEW of the criminal enterprises that need to be investigated:

The attempt to take out Trump with lying dossier by federal agencies

Hitlery and her emails

Clinton crime foundation including when Hitlery was SoS 0bola allowing Hezbollah into the US with heroin

Obola’s fake identity

Benghazi - and the whole taken down of Libya (Where’s the 6 billion in GOLD??)

Fast and Furious

The Iran deal and all that

Uranium One

Hat tip gaijin:

A DOZEN INSTANCES OF OBAMA SPYING

1.The US National Security Agency bugged a private climate change strategy meeting; between UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin;

2. Obama bugged Chief of Staff of UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) for long term interception targetting his Swiss phone;

3. Obama singled out the Director of the Rules Division of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Johann Human, and targetted his Swiss phone for long term interception;

4. Obama stole sensitive Italian diplomatic cables detailing how Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu implored Italy’s Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi to help patch up his relationship with US President Barack Obama, who was refusing to talk to Netanyahu;

5. Obama intercepted top EU and Japanese trade ministers discussing their secret strategy and red lines to stop the US “extort[ing]” them at the WTO Doha arounds (the talks subsequently collapsed);

6. Obama explicitly targeted five other top EU economic officials for long term interception, including their French, Austrian and Belgium phone numbers;

7. Obama explicitly targetted the phones of Italy’s ambassador to NATO and other top Italian officials for long term interception; and

8. Obama intercepted details of a critical private meeting between then French president Nicolas Sarkozy, Merkel and Berluscon, where the latter was told the Italian banking system was ready to “pop like a cork”.

9. In addition to the above list we also know now that Obama wire tapped various individuals in the US media that were reporting information not flattering to the Obama Administration. It is widely known that Obama’s Justice Department targeted journalists with wiretaps in 2013:

10. In 2013 the liberal Washington Post expressed outrage after the revelation that the Justice Department had investigated the news-gathering activities of a Fox News reporter as a potential crime in a probe of classified leaks. The reporter, Fox News’ James Rosen and his family, were part of an investigation into government officials anonymously leaking information to journalists. Rosen was not charged but his movements and actions were tracked.

11. Also in 2013, members of the Associated Press were also a target of the surveillance. The ultra liberal New Yorker even noted that “In moderate and liberal circles, at least, the phone-records scandal, partly because it involves the dear old A.P. and partly because it raises anew the specter of Big Brother, may well present the most serious threat to Obama’s reputation.”

12. Reporter Sharyl Attkisson said in 2014 that her personal computer and CBS laptop were hacked after she began filing stories about Benghazi that were unflattering to the Obama administration. A source who checked her laptop said the hacker used spyware “proprietary to a government agency,” according to an article in the New York Post.

An old post by yours truly:

"1. 18 U.S. Code § 793 - Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information 18 U.S. Code § 798 - Disclosure of classified information"

"2. U.S. Code § 1924 - Unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or material"

"3. 18 U.S. Code § 2071(b) -- Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally"

Mr. Comey, did Hillary Clinton remove, conceal, mutilate, or destroy any document?

Assuming your answer is Yes, then is she Disqualified from holding any office under the United States?

"4. 18 U.S. Code § 641 - Public money, property or records"

"5. 18 U.S. Code § 1505 - Obstruction of proceedings before departments, agencies, and committees"

"6. 18 U.S. Code § 1519 -- Destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations"

"7. 18 U.S. Code § 1031 -- Fraud against the United States 18 U.S. Code § 1343 - Fraud by wire, radio or television 18 U.S. Code § 1346 -- Definition of "scheme or artifice to defraud" 18 U.S. Code § 371 - Conspiracy to defraud the United States"

"8. 18 U.S. Code § 371 - Conspiracy to commit a federal offense

With each law broken multiple times, there are indictable offenses galore. According to Rudy Giuliani, Hillary broke at least 16 separate felonious violations of U.S. Federal Code, and many multiple counts therein.

When are there going to be Real Indictments for the above Real Crimes that were committed by Democrats? Are Democrats always going to be off limits? Do we still have a Constitution and the rule of law?

The above US Code violations are just the tip of the iceberg. So many felonies. So many crimes. As this goes on and on, America is becoming the laughing stock of the world. If there's not a single American absolutely livid with rage about all of this, then they're brain dead. We the People want real indictments Now!

-- So, in reality, Mueller is indicting these people for not supporting Hillary... --

The first count includes instances of pro-Hillary propaganda, see paragraph 53, and anti-Trump after the election, see paragraph 57.

Highly selective (and legally creative, i.e. "bonkers") indictment, based on Mueller's tunnel vision.

This indictment is a political propaganda device - it is not an honest attempt to enforce the law.

Are you sure they can’t be extradited? Rosenstein specifically mentioned that they would be moving forward with extradition proceedings. I don’t think he would say that if there wasn’t a legal basis for it. A better question might be, to what degree does it require the cooperation or consent of the sending country? Plenty of room for more mischief by Putin: he can resist the extradition and have the Dems jumping like jackals (RUSSIANS PROTECTING TRUMP!!!!!) or he can put the screws to President Trump by handing them over all while saying: “see what a good member of the family of nations we are”

16 Russians indicted

10s, 100s, or 1,000s of thousands of Mexican illegal aliens, no indictments.

Russian charged with advocating for Trump and for Clinton.

Mexican illegal aliens vote almost exclusively for Democrats. No indictments.

Illegal aliens are sworn by Leftists to be covered by our U. S. Constitution. Here though, the Russians are charged making it clear they have no first amendment rights.

Obama and Clinton sent U. S. citizens to interfere in Israel and Britain’s elections.

The people they sent over were professional campaign level operatives working for Leftists. I don’t see any hooting an hollering about abuses there.

The charges announced today, are a feakin joke!

OK fine, but are they being charged for that?

And does this move open CIA and Justice Dept operatives as well as any numbers of US citizens to legal exposure in Russia, Ukraine, UK and other places where it is highly likely that US federal agencies and citizens and citizen groups “meddled” in elections overseas? They may very well retaliate or follow our cue. Something that was once known but ignored is being blown into a circus by Trump mania.

Seems to be a little wacky, this indictment. Especially when everyone knows there is a pile of evidence of collusion (Mueller’s supposed domain) between the DNC, HRC campaign, several law firms, fusion GPS, Russians, Ukrainians and several others? I believe Mueller’s explicit instructions had to do with uncovering Trump collusion, but also includes the clause whereever that investigation leads him. But clearly this leads him to the DNC big time. Why he is futzing around with Russians whom he will never catch or put on trial?

Any country can REQUEST extradition of any suspect(s) or indicted person(s) from another country.

Without a standing extradition treaty (which does not exist between Russia and the USA) it is highly unlikely that any Russian national(s) would ever be extradited from Russia to the USA. They won’t even let us have Snowden, a US national. But Putin could decide to extradite anyone requested, if he thought it was in his political interests.

The US can request it but Russia will surely deny the request.

Picking fights is not a federal crime; verbal provocation is protected by the 1st amendment; and misreprentation of political preference is also perfectly legal. I went to Trump rallies wearing a "Clinton/Gore" button. It was a conversation starter, and a real tease to the press. I would tell the truth to most, then straight-up lie to the press that I was a converted Clinton supporter.
