The minute an authority figure broaches the name of Big Pharma all hell will break loose in the swamp.

The problem with using new laws to prevent future terrorism/mass murder is that you are reactive in passing the new laws/security measures. They will come up with a new method that bypasses that previous measure of security, and the cycle will keep progressing, if unchecked, into a situation where you are choking under tyranny and terror all the time.

Perimeter security and access control. It’s too bad it’s come to this but they either need to get the bad apples out of there before they explode, or everybody need to get checked for weapons, every time they come in or out. Have to. Can’t have schools keep getting shot up and just say oh well.

We don’t need to start with more gun control laws. We need to start by putting God back in our schools and society. The minute we kicked God out of our schools overall morality began to plunge.

Well you could investigate and restrict the conditions allowing the of and monitoring of psychotropic drugs in young boys, but then that would be too much like solving the problem.

Re: “So, you know, this idea that one magic law is going to stop the next one from happening, it’s not,” Scalise said.

Well, their is such a magic law and if you want to know about it, read my tagline below and then read the book.

The novel depicts a world where genetic selection for increased health, longevity, and intelligence has become so widespread that the unmodified 'control naturals' are a carefully managed and protected minority. Dueling and the carrying of arms is a socially accepted way of maintaining civility in public; a man can wear distinctive clothing to show his unwillingness to duel, but this results in an inferior social status.

Crooked politicians who want to turn the US into Venezuela are the ones who want gun control, and won’t let a good mass murder go to waste.

If somebody could magically “uninvent” guns, he would have found another method.
Bombs, barracading the doors and lighting the school on fire, waiting til everyone was leaving and plowing them over with a car...etc...

He’d have killed just as many, if not more.

No guns - NOTHING would have changed.

Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty. Otherwise we fall prey to the persons who promise to “protect” us, when the actual objective is command and control.

So far as “gun control” goes, there is a path and means to uncover almost all miscreants who would try to misuse firearms and bring harm upon others through either carelessness or malevolent intent, and that is to expose ALL youth, regardless of any other trait or factor, to the handling, care, feeding and use of firearms at a relatively early age, preferable before or during their high school years. Much as drivers education is pretty much mandated for early acquisition of a driver’s license, training in the proper protocols and rules for handling weaponry capable of sending a projectile along an aimed path would serve to drive home the lesson that gunplay is no joke. Further training in the techniques of selecting suitable targets, aiming, properly discharging the weapon, and being able to account for the consequences, would have the objective of instilling a sense of responsibility in the novice.

Yes, we are dealing with a device that could potentially maim or kill. But the same may be said of tools used in shop class, or of motor vehicles, and millions manage to grow up anyway even in the presences of these hazardous pieces of equipment, so long as they obey the rules set down, rules that were painfully worked out in the past and have the practical aspect of actually being effective.

In the process of giving this training on as nearly universal a basis as practical, some few of the aspirants will prove to be unfit, for one reason or another, to have weaponry in their possession, as they may lack impulse control, or simply be a malevolent personality. This identification should be relatively simple to spot early on, and appropriate action taken to assure these inept or troubled persons are steered into a set of circumstances in which authorities could monitor their actions.

As a corollary to this training in firearms usage, another course in how NOT to become a victim of others in interpersonal relationships, sometimes referred to “bullying”, but with many other aspects of dominance/submission, often including a non-consensual sexual encounter or disproportional force in disputes. This may be an unusually difficult task, working with human beings of varying degrees of motivation and internal moral compass calibrations.

People might not be ready to live in the 21st Century just yet. Be a good idea to start preparing.

Get rid of evil, which the left sides with, and there would be no need for guns. However, until Jesus returns evil will be rampant and therefore the need for guns.

This school in Florida had the good sense to kick this guy out in order to protect the rest of the students but my question is whether or not this confessed mass killer was neglected by the FBI due to bias? We are so used to people complaining about profiling but there is no denying that in this case the perp and the rest of the world would be much better off today had someone at the FBI acted on the information that they had on this guy.

Was this tragedy a consequence of intentional or unintentional bias? It seems clear that everyone knew this guy was going to do something like this and that it was only a matter of time.

I remember one case that was similar. There was a complete whack-job on the loose who had been fired as a teacher. People were quitting their jobs so they wouldn’t have to deal with him. A Republican elected official stepped down out of fear for his own safety as well as that of his staff and his family. It was only a matter of time before the former teacher did something horrible. Eventually, he tried but came up against a very determined and formidable elementary school principal and brave teachers who disarmed him and took him down before he could harm the kids.

Now if I had done even a small fraction of what either of these guys had done, various authorities would have come down on me like a ton of bricks. Threaten a politician? His staff?? I actually get in trouble for not tap-dancing around giant inflated egos and incompetent nitwits quickly enough!!

The metrosexual left longs for another Mac Daddy like Obama who will simply issue an Executive Order and abolish gun ownership

Then get into single handedly issuing EO’s to deal with those other pesky parts of the Constitution that are too cumbersome to address and change in the prescribed way

Rule by fiat is fine with progressives- as long as one of their own is in charge

But lets see Trump issue an EO about immigration....

“Steve Scalise: No ‘magic law’ will stop mass shootings....”
********************************************************

I have read countless articles where Guys nd Gals w/Guns have stopped robberies, shootings, etc. because they happened to be there and were armed! This is happening all across this land.

This can also work in the schools of America!
All it takes is a call for volunteers/Guys and Gals w/Guns!

ASK AND THEY WILL COME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Retirees, Cops, Former Militay,Etc.
They are out there and willing to serve voluntarily!

But they have to be authorized and organized! That takes government and/or someone w/the public persona to reach media/polticians/the public to get gubmint off its @$$ and MOVE!!

Gunny G@PlanetWTF!
TRUMP.45 IF WE CAN KEEP HIM?

Found this on Gateway Pundit

“Two brothers who knew the suspected shooter and were present during the massacre at a Florida high school stated during an appearance on MSNBC that they did not believe gun control could have prevented the tragedy.”
