If it is shown that the law was violated or even if there were ethical violations by those granting such immunity any immunity deal would be invalid. Any immunity deal is also contingent on the person receiving immunity telling the absolute truth. One lie and the deal can be withdrawn..... isn’t that ironic? Only DOJ can grant immunity - the FBI nor any other federal agent cannot and does not have the authority to grant a person immunity, but then again, Comey did not have the authority to make his proclamation that no charges were warranted (also invalid by the way).

This thing is not over. Trump came into office and said he wanted to look forward and not focus on the past. They continued to stab him in the back (illegally) relentlessly. I suspect that he is patiently waiting for the drip, now running water, to turn into a flood and it is coming. The usual Republicrat would let this pass - I do not believe Trump will. I hope he won’t.

The key this Fall will be the house elections, but I think DiGenova made a great point in saying that Nunes is rushing to get his information out there before the election. How many Americans pay enough attention to this will be the key. Another factor (like it or not) is when a few journalist in the MSM break ranks and start to practice their craft. We have some who are doing a really good job on this story now like York, Hemmingway, Carter, Atkinson, and others. I believe the biggest bomb that will drop in all of this is coming next month - the OIG investigation. It is difficult to obtain the truth before congress with the top people who were politicized and driving this - it is another to expect the rank and file civil servants who executed this stuff to lie about it. I fully expect this will be explosive and because it is Obama’s OIG and he and his team have conducted themselves impartially it will have “gravitas.”

It may never be known how we got here. Some of it goes back to the DNC leak, which they blamed on hackers, then Russian hackers. This opened the door to questions of Hillary’s ability to keep secrets, eg she was already under fire for her server and the loss of 30,000 emails. So Trump mocked her on the campaign trail saying ‘Russia and a dozen other countries have those emails why don’t we’ and ‘maybe FBI should ask Putin for the emails’ etc. It was mostly his way of making the point through humor and exaggeration but to counter the Democrats said Trump was in league with Putin and conspired with Putin to hack Hillary etc. So stupid but they (the DNC) were scrambling.

It may have been more of a set-up than all that. But I suspect it came down to something like “well we accused him of being in bed with Putin so lets tap everyone we can get away with tapping and see if we can’t find anything real to stick on him”. And so they concocted that Dossier to get the FISA warrant to get the wiretaps hoping that the wiretaps would prove some of the crap in the Dossier! This is why they ran that Dossier business through the law firm, hoping it would give them lawyer-client protections. They (DNC/Hillary/Politicians) do that crap a lot, run their rat hole schemes through law firms. Though remember that they did circulate parts of that Dossier around all over the media, and even the most shrill Hillary supporters wouldn’t even report on what they knew was an obvious pile of horse crap.

A lot of speculation of course but this kind of makes sense and the way I see it having played out. I could be missing a lot of info and my timeline may be off so don’t rely on me. Just an opinion.
