Well in all fairness to Rush, it was a hard network break, so he would have been dumped for local programming/news at the bottom of the hour by the affiliates if he kept talking.

Here's the most interesting thing about the painting that I saw this evening: it doesn't show Obama with an extra digit on his left hand. Someone who can paint as well as the artist can wouldn't paint a hand with an extra digit or one so poorly rendered that it appears to have one.

It is an under-curled thumb meaning he is shown with two right hands. In Islam, according to the Hadith, Allah has two right hands.
