President Trump announced his 11th wave of judicial nominees on Monday, intending to nominate nine federal judges including four federal circuit court picks.
Since taking office roughly one year ago, Mr. Trump faced an unprecedented amount of vacancies on the federal bench.
Hes had 13 circuit court judges confirmed in the past year.
His list Monday included five district court nominees and four circuit court picks, including: Mark J. Bennett for the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Andrew S. Oldham for the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Michael Y. Scudder, Jr. for the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, and Judge Amy J. St. Eve for the U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.
The announcement comes as the Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to hold confirmation hearings for five judges on Wednesday and vote on four Thursday, setting them up for a confirmation vote on the Senate floor.

I agree. Forget this immigration crap. Judges SHOULD be first priority over everything. Immigration can come later. Just let ICE do it’s job.

I didn’t read this before my post. This is acceptable. Although I wish he had a higher number then 4 going to full Senate for vote. We need 20 a week at least. I don’t see why each has to be vetted so much.
There are 26 nominations currently pending on the floor. Grassley’s been doing a good job. It’s Mitch that’s been slow.
Agreed. Judge nominations and appointments should come first. Judicial activism has been the main problem perpetuating and causing many other problems.

Liberals already going bat crazy over this one.
The trouble is that if too many judges get appointed, they are likely to find more ways to harrass the citizenry just to have something to do.
