Peoples lives are being shattered & destroyed... Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?

Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation. Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused - life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?

Looking at those photos, I must believe that their career is perhaps the oldest one!

#GoFundMeACompleteDress

Whatever they do they must not earn much money.

The poor girls can't even afford to buy warm clothing that covers more than a third of their bodies.

That must be why they like to live in a warm climate.

Hopefully he’ll finally get arrested and put to trial and then go to jail once for all.

"Mueller is destroying lives with the all the money and power a deep state henchman can utilize, and he shows no signs of stopping."

The coup is ON!

I was actually in a similar situation, and my reaction of trying to be invisible to avoid undue attention is not unusual. I was married but that made no difference.

This issue is nothing more than corruption and abuse of power and should be prosecuted as such. That would give clarity to what constitutes a crime and what does not, which would give certainty to the workplace not to mention a sense of relief to the average man who doesn’t do these things but is walking on egg-shells anyway.

As long as people continue to act as though this is something other than abuse of power and corruption, the issue will continue to lack clarity.

You seem hung up on the pregnancy thing but there have been no talk of babies throughout this whole thing which started with Uber’s fall from grace.

We are a society of capricious law that is made up and applied on the fly.

I hope for the same, but hope is not a strategy. He will have a mighty team of lawyers and the evidence must hold up.

That is exactly the problem. This category of crime is being treated like some sort of special category of shameful/humorous/insert-your-adjective-here thing instead of boring old abuse of power and corruption for which we have well established legal procedures and with which we are all too familiar.

‘The coup is ON!’

You got that right. We could sure use a first rate AG about now.

Well now you know, due to the power men like him have wielded for-ever...why women who’ve gone unbelieved and don’t have the same resources are up in arms.

An AG? Now that is a fantasy! MIA Sessions is NOT worth the loss of a Republican seat in Alabama!

CONSIDER Soviet dissident Aleksander Solzhenitsyn's observations on Western "rule of law"

I have spent all my life under a Communist regime and I will tell you that a society without any objective legal scale is a terrible one indeed. But a society with no other scale than the legal one is not quite worthy of man either. A society which is based on the letter of the law and never reaches any higher is taking very scarce advantage of the high level of human possibilities. The letter of the law is too cold and formal to have a beneficial influence on society. Whenever the tissue of life is woven of legalistic relations, there is an atmosphere of moral mediocrity, paralyzing man's noblest impulses. And it will be simply impossible to stand through the trials of this threatening century with only the support of a legalistic structure.

If one is right from a legal point of view, nothing more is required. Nobody will mention that one could still not be entirely right, and urge self-restraint, a willingness to renounce such legal rights, sacrifice and selfless risk. It would sound simply absurd. One almost never sees voluntary self-restraint. Everybody operates at the extreme limit of those legal frames.

Yes and I also know that some people will do anything to advance their careers.

Nobody holds a gun to their heads in these pursuits.

See my post 94. Just because something is “legal” doesn’t mean it’s “right.” And as conservatives, we should believe in morality that goes even beyond the rule of law.

Also: beware of reflexive victim blaming. Especially if you’re man. It’s effeminate to give creeps the benefit of the doubt even if so-called behavior was consensual. Real men protect and honor women, and are faithful to their wives.

And yes I understand Trump is no moral paragon of virtue in terms of prior marital faithfulness.

But he’s surrounded himself with individuals such as Mike Pence who abides the “Pence rule” which is to never be left alone with a woman especially if alcohol is present.

It must above all else be true.

But I’m done with you. You’ve revealed yourself as a feminist puke ... and you’re kinda new around here.

Bye.

actually your comments reveal the insidious emasculating of men that have sadly ripped part at the fabric of this country. chivalry needs to make a comeback big time and more men should follow the Pence rule.
