WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday blocked the release of a classified memo written by House of Representatives Democrats that rebutted a Republican document made public last week which alleged anti-Trump bias in the FBI’s Russia probe.

So we already see there is no indication in their unclassified response that they have any relevant classified response. So the only logical conclusion is that their 10 page memo was other classified talk about Trump or just classified stuff unrelated to the Nunes memo. The Republicans in the committee will probably let the Dems rewrite it, but obviously the salient point is that there was nothing to support the Page warrant except the Steele dossier and news articles planted by Steele.

The main secrets left are the ones Mueller is using, plus perhaps unrelated sources and methods that were added as a poison pill. Rosenstein rejected the Dem memo probably because Mueller needs secret info kept secret (for now) The real point of the Dem memo is to distract from the real point of the Nunes memo.
The Nunes memo said: the FBI presented fraudulent evidence for a Page warrant (probably used to spy on Trump's campaign, not just Page but we don't know).
The Schiff memo probably says: the FBI got warrants to spy on the Trump campaign and there was other intel community "evidence" that links Trump to Russia. If that's the case, then Mueller can try to prosecute (pathetic so far). But, the Nunes memo doesn't say Trump is totally innocent or Mueller is an idiot or anything like that. In fact it says this memo is not an attack on the Mueller investigation. It only says the FBI fraudulently obtained a warrant on an opposition political campaign. They abused the FISC. That's it. Everything else is a distraction.

actually, not a smart move by Trump; now the Dems can claim anything they want about their memo, and in particular that Trump blocked it because it completely destroys the GOP memo.
Trump should have had the classified parts redacted and what was left released. My guess is that the Dems DELIBERATELY filled their memo with classified stuff, knowing that Trump would have no choice but to not release it or heavily redact it.
Once that happens, that's it for the Dem narrative. Mueller will continue but a parallel investigation will taint a lot of Mueller evidence.

He wants to release it. He is inclined that way, but just can’t. Life’s a ditch.
I could be wrong, but I see it like this. Mueller still has an investigation going, and if the president releases the Democrat memo with the classified information then it taints that investigation. On one hand the Dem’s can say he is hiding something, but if he releases it as is, then they can say the investigation has been exposed and corrupted. Which I believe right now is what they want. So they can set the ground work for another investigation on their own terms for after the midterms.
FWIW,
Mueller’s goal is to drag his fake investigation out long enough for the Dem’s to win the House in the Mid-terms.
This will take the pressure off any Republican efforts to investigate Hillary, Obama and their cohorts.
It’s a cover up.
