Former president George W. Bush said that theres pretty clear evidence that the Russians meddled in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, during a speech in Abu Dhabi Thursday.
Whether they affected the outcome is another question, Bush added.
He called it problematic that a foreign nation is involved in our election system. Our democracy is only as good as people trust the results.
Hes got a chip on his shoulder, Bush said about Putin. The reason he does is because of the demise of the Soviet Union troubles him. Therefore, much of his moves (are) to regain Soviet hegemony.
The former president went on to emphasize the importance of NATO and U.S. alliances around the world, claiming Putin is pushing, constantly pushing, probing weaknesses.

The military tribunals can’t come soon enough.
He’s suddenly vocal after 8 years.
OMG——to think this delusional ***hole was once a president.
And to think that this idiot globalist had scores of people fooled for years, including me. No more. 0
Clear to whom? What....did....Russia....Do, other than work with Hillary and the DNC to politically sodomize Trump like they politically sodomized Bernie in the primaries. Bernie was a dry run to screw Trump.
An FBI informant involved in the controversial Uranium One deal has told congressional committees that Moscow paid millions to a U.S. lobbying firm in a bid to influence then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by helping former President Bill Clintons charities during the Obama administration.
The Hill first reported late Wednesday that informant Douglas Campbell gave a 10-page statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee, House Intelligence Committee and House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and was interviewed for several hours behind closed doors by committee staff.
In the statement, obtained by Fox News, Campbell said Russian executives told him that Moscow was hiring APCO Worldwide in an effort to influence the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton.
Campbell said Russian nuclear officials told me at various times that they expected APCO to apply a portion of the $3 million annual lobbying fee it was receiving from the Russians to provide in-kind support for the Clintons Global Initiative.
The contract called for four payments of $750,000 over twelve months, Campbell said in the statement. APCO was expected to give assistance free of charge to the Clinton Global Initiative as part of their effort to create a favorable environment to ensure the Obama administration made affirmative decisions on everything from Uranium One to the US-Russia Civilian Nuclear Cooperation agreement.
"APCO Worldwide undertook client work on behalf of Tenex in 2010 and 2011. It undertook work for the Clinton Global Initiative from 2008-2016," APCO told Fox News. "(snip)

and to think I was dumb enough to vote for him....
The Bushes: a stain that wont go out.
I agree that there was not a peep out of him the entire Obama presidency.
Not to overly defend his remarks, however the media is blowing them out of proportion. He stated a fact that Russia attempted to interfere in our election, as they have done in all modern elections (as the United States does in other countries’ elections). However, he did say that whether or not they succeeded is another question. The media is adding their own narrative to make it sound like he was endorsing the fiction that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia.
Shut up, you stupid, little monkey.
It became obvious GWB was nothing but a dupe.......got conned to invade Iraq for NO reason........costing Americans trillions o dollars.......and counting.
I still think he was a good wartime president but other than that a one world government loser.
Consider the contenders those two times and you may be able to live with yourself. I forgave me and I can forgive you as well. ;-)
“Hes suddenly vocal after 8 years.”
Wish he would go back on the bottle.
Dubya’s family bought 100,000 acres of land in Paraguay in 2006.
When you start seeing private flights to Paraguay, you know that Trump is about to drop the hammer on the cabal.

Conveniently, Paraguay’s extradition treaty agreement (signed by Clinton in 1999) excludes offenses that are “political offenses”...
Bases for Denial of Extradition
1. Extradition shall not be granted by the Requested State if the
offense for which extradition is requested is a political offense. For the
purposes of this Treaty, the following offenses shall not be considered to be
political offenses:
(a) a murder or other willful crime against the physical
integrity of the Head of State of one of the Parties, or of
a member of the Head of State’s family;
(b) an offense for which both Parties have the obligation,
pursuant to a multilateral international agreement, to
extradite the person sought or to submit the case to
their competent authorities for decision as to
prosecution; and
(c) a conspiracy or attempt to commit, or participation in
the commission of, any of the foregoing offenses.

Trump ought to redo the extradition treaty with Paraguay by dropping Article IV.
EXCERPT The taxpayer financed-Skolkovo Scandal While serving as secretary of state, Clinton oversaw a program meant to reset relations with Moscow and improve ties. The program centered around the Russian city of Skolkovo near Moscow with the stated aim of identifying areas of cooperation and pursuing joint projects and actions that strengthen strategic stability, international security, economic well-being, and the development of ties between the American and Russian people.
Hillary's State Dept program transformed Skolkovo into a technology hub akin to a Silicon Valley. Sensitive American technology was transferred to the Russians, substantially enhancing their military and cyber capabilities. The US Army and the FBI concluded that Russia had exploited the program for military applications. The FBI warned American technology companies doing business in Skolkovo that the Skolkovo project was a means by which the Russians would acquire dual use technologies and apply them for military ends. According to investigative author Peter Schweizer, Russian and American companies and individuals involved in the Skolkovo fiasco had major financial ties to the Clintons.
Moreover, during the Russian reset period, those entities provided the Clintons with tens of millions of dollars in the form of contributions to the Clinton Foundation, paid for speeches by Bill Clinton, or investments in small start-up companies with deep Clinton ties.
