Nunes characterized Democrats on the committee as dishonest actors who are not interested in the truth. “They know they’re not being honest actors, and I get tired of playing wack-a-mole everyday with the Democrats on this committee who never wanted to start this investigation in the first place,” he said, later adding: “These guys tell so many lies you can’t keep track of them.”
“The FBI opened a counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign in the summer of 2016,” he said. “That’s what happened. And then they got a warrant on someone in the Trump campaign using opposition research paid for by the Democratic Party and the Hillary Clinton campaign. That’s what this is about, and it’s wrong and it should never be done.”

Nunes, on the other hand, is one tough hombre. I love that he actually calls Democrats liars. Not often you hear that exact appellation used by a GOPer. A Portuguese dairy farmer from Fresno managed to outsmart and out-maneuver all the bureaucratic legal beagles at DOJ. In four pages, no less.

I did not expect much from Bret Baier but in the interview, he did a totally fair job, with pertinent and well timed questions in good tones. And Nunes gave stellar answers, he was mindblowing in clarity compared to the Democrats incoherent babbling and stuttering on other channels.
The interview is awesome.

Nunes may get tired of playing “whack-a-mole”, but he sure is good at it.
I wonder if there is some chance that Trey Gowdy would like the job of AG? I get the impression that he tired of not being able to actually prosecute anyone... (It is also interesting to take note of Gowdy’s role as Nunes described it.)
Nunes deserves a lot of recognition for having the courage to stay with this thing. I think we all know how vicious dems are when they feel threatened.

This whole investigation started because the left accused Trump of collusion with Russia to WIN the election......BUT the Fake Dossier was to DESTROY Trump with fake info FROM the Russians....so which is it?
The lying Democrats are covering for a whole lot of liars at the FBI and DOJ. That includes Wray and Rosenstein, whom Sessions praises.
To the Session apologists here, when Trump finally can come flat out and admit he screwed up with Sessions and fix that little weasel, I’m going to enjoy watching you eat a whole lot of crow.

I think the weaponizing of the FBI, IRS, et al probably has its roots 25 years ago during the Presidency of Bill Clinton and was most likely started by one Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Baier is a bitter never Trumper. He tries to hide it, like Dana, Krauthammer and Gutfeld... but it slowly oozes out of their pours, they try to hide it, but they can’t.
