A Democratic memo written to counter a Republican document released Friday claims that the government presented additional evidence that would undercut the GOP conclusion, according to The New York Times.

Democrats have claimed key information was omitted in the Republican document, which was based on classified documents that have not been released.

Republicans say in their now-public memo that the FBI did not reveal that information underlying a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) request came from a politically motivated source.

The Democratic countermemo reportedly claims that the FBI did reveal the source of the information was politically motivated, according to two Times sources.

Officials may not have told the FISA court that the information was partially funded by Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee, the Times reported.

Why not just ask the judge who granted the warrant?

Another point raised ... so, the judge accepted evidence described as uncorroborated politically motivated oppo research as sufficient justification to grant a surveillance warrant.

And we are supposed to trust the system, in particular the FISA court?

Burn the whole damn thing down.

I know I am. But what are you?

Democrats are so childish. And so are their voters.

In this case the Dems simply responded “That’s not true!”

If the Judge was told this, the Judge should be stretching a Rope along with some of his FBI / DOJ Buddies.

The Democratic countermemo reportedly claims that the FBI did reveal the source of the information was politically motivated, according to two Times sources.

So, the judge wasn't kept in the dark about the source of the Dossier, and therefore he/she was an active participant in this corruption.

Could be they've had time to show a judge or two who ruled on the application what they have on them and enlist them to say they knew in advance that they were approving an application in spite of a tainted source of information.

Even so, judges may not play along given the fact that they're appointed for life and it's tough to remove them. Especially when Republicans control both Houses of Congress and Trump is President.

Any judge in question may be thinking that no one will believe whatever the FBI or democrat thugs have on them now that they're all known liars.

Thinking out loud . . .

I was going to try and make a rational statement about the Dems argument, but decided it's impossible. They're playing by Alynski’s rules.
