I just assumed people were seeing the withholding change since January 1 (we’re retired, so we wouldn’t have noticed). Besides, take home pay isn’t the full tax story for some, but I don’t expect most to get that.
My take home increased
Yeah, my check was a lot higher. I’m kind of concerned that I should bump up my withholding now to compensate for taxes. I know I will still get screwed!
I am retired and expect little from the feral government as I am not an illegal. Congress has spent over $13T from Social Security and blamed the recipients of bankrupting the system.
I got $30 more than usual.
I’m grateful but I’m not bouncing off the walls for an extra $60/month.
I’ve seen the change in our military pensions, and my husbands paycheck was $150 higher today. I won’t see mine until next week.
I’ll be more interested in how this shakes out when I actually file.

Noticed a modest decrease in FITW- about $60 from my military retired pay. So I will pay in about $720 less than last year, enabling me to use my money rather than wait until next February to get it back in form of a federal income tax refund.....
My paycheck is up with the new guy in office.
It was down with the last guy in office. BTW where is the messiah? He is hiding out and not saying anything which must be really hard on him as it is I,I and I etc. with him 24/7.
