The loss of Trey Gowdy as Congressman and head of Oversight is unimaginable for Americans. He’s the one to turn to for the truth and nothing but. Wish he’d reconsider. We need him badly.

Maybe its because as much as Congressman Gowdy does, he can’t indict. He gets to the truth of corruption and... that’s it. What a crying, crying shame. I hope he continues to serve all of America.
Perhaps President Trump will nominate him for a Supreme Justice - but it could be a long wait.

Somebody else suggested he may be the next Special Counsel. I think that may be a better role for him. Also, I like the Supreme Court idea too.
I expect many more republicans to leave. The constant Rat and liberfarian attacks, and now the old media has republicans attacking republicans. The Rats are dividing, very effectively, and conquering their opponents. I never thought I would see freepers joining the pile on, but it becomes more evident everyday—how many freepers are Rat trollers? I wonder?
Very good comment but in today’s Freeper amd liberfarian world, no republican is worthy of anything but scorn. This attitude, will of course, also undermine Trump. The Obama/Clinton crime families and their media are effectively killing off their opposition using republicans to discredit other republicans.

Maybe not too weird. With the FISA memo, SOTU, etc., going on, we haven’t heard much about the secret slush fund making payouts to harassed women. It has fallen through the cracks. We don’t know whose names are on that list. Maybe Trey’s name? I don’t know — just throwing out an idea.
It is interesting that so many popular and successful legislators have decided to not run for re-election. The timing is convenient for people to cut and run before the list of names is released.

Just my humble opinion, but I do think we should appreciate Gowdy. Remember, he was instrumental in opening our eyes to the Benghazi/HildaWitch scandal. Hope to see him (or someone like him) replace Sessions

Agreed that is a very good measure of how much someone wants it covered up. In this case it could be as you suggest or they believe it's a foolish conspiracy that they can stomp on.
It's one of the two. I'm always questioning.
Personally I think Qanon is part of the Cabal that is taking out their trash. Which is good for everyone but the trash.
