I wonder why nobody reported it when Dem policies shut down Catholic schools and hospitals...here in NJ, where they had been developed for more than a century, they are practically gone. The schools were shut down when massive tax burdens were laid on the population for public schools, and the hospitals closed when the same government that required treatment for all regardless of means to pay continually reduced the reimbursement for the treatment. Those institutions were far more important than the current form of “Catholic Charities”, which seems to be more about political activism and fundraising propaganda than actual charity.

Speaking as a Catholic from birth, and having a personal friend who worked many years for Catholic Charities, I can tell you that this is absolutely true. It is a political racket masquerading as a charity.
