Fox Exposes the Clintons in the Scandalous Series
American Thinker.com ^ | January 28, 2018 | Peter Barry Chowka

The excellent 7-part Fox News documentary series Scandalous, covering the scandals of the Clintons through the 42nd president’s impeachment trial in 1999, continues tonight with the premiere of part 2, “A Woman Called Paula.” The hour-long program airs at 8 P.M. E.T./P.T. At 7 P.M., part 1, “Up Crooked Creek” about the Whitewater scandal, which originally aired last Sunday, will be reprised.

Fox hopes that Scandalous will be an ongoing series devoted to various political scandals in American history. The first 7 parts, devoted to the Clintons, total 280 minutes of content and go a long way towards helping to correct the largely sanitized and whitewashed record of Bill Clinton’s scandal-ridden career and presidency. Since he left office on January 20, 2001, the mainstream media, to my knowledge, has never attempted any serious appraisals of the underside of Bill and Hillary Clinton’s eight years in the White House and their earlier careers in Arkansas. The only exception was the PBS American Experience 2-part, 4-hour presidents’ series episode about Clinton which aired most recently in 2012. It covered Bill and Hillary’s entire career with only a minor focus on the scandals. Like most MSM appraisals of the Clintons, it reinforced the gauzy, airbrushed history of the 1990s, which witnessed the pumped up Internet dot com surge that helped to propel the temporary economic boomlet before the bubble started to burst in 2000, Bill Clinton’s last full year in office.

The universally positive mainstream media appraisals of Bill Clinton’s tenure as president -- his 1999 impeachment trial notwithstanding -- helped him to achieve a 66% approval rating when he left office in 2001 and strong approval ratings in subsequent years (until recently) as an ex-president.

If it doesn’t catalog all the convenient deaths (and there a lot of them) then they are still treating the Clintons with kid gloves.

I won't. I lived through it and I remember it all, as if it were yesterday. Once is enough. But I'm SO glad the viewing audience can see it for themselves.

They missed a lot but there is so much. To really delve into Clinton scandals you would have to have a lot more time. For instance, I doubt if they will even touch Bloodgate.

I don’t need to watch, I lived this bit of history as did most of us here. Nothing they present could possibly change my opinion of the Clintons since it’s impossible to go lower than zero. So I’ll do something useful with that time, like sort my sock drawer...

Armed with fresh attitudes about sexual harassment, women are reassessing their earlier conclusions about Bill Clinton-—at the time the femiNazi line was “it’s only sex.”

Clearly they have come to regret those words.

The reassessment should put then-bad guy, Linda Tripp on the side of the angels now, but she told The Weekly Standard, “It’s a day late, and it’s a dollar short.” She wants to know what information the reassessors have today they didn’t have 20 years ago.

When The Drudge Report broke the story in January 1998 with the power of a rotten egg, Hillary Clinton went on the attack on NBC’s “Today” show in January 1998. The accusations against her husband, Clinton said, were merely the work of a “vast right-wing media conspiracy.”

The abuse of a young woman by a male boss twice her age was reduced to partisan politics.

(Billy lied thru his teeth-—but was forced to confess later)

The even vaster left-wing media conspiracy joined the White House and closed ranks with the first lady and the president, as they treated Lewinsky and Bubba’s “bimbo eruptions” like clay ducks in a shooting gallery. Maureen Dowd of The New York Times called the White House approach “a slander strategy.” But she observed, “at least some of the veteran Clinton shooters feel a little nauseated this time around, after smearing so many women who were probably telling the truth as trashy bimbos.”

One reader spouts the same old Clinton meme-——writing about the Clinton scandals is “so yesterday.” Why bother with a rehash of the Clintons in the White House? But news of the Clintons is never yesterday’s news. Their story demonstrates over and over how power and the press create villains and heroines with exaggeration, distortion and truth rearrangement.

Linda became the victim of the “power of two”....Hillary marshalling the forces behind Bill in a crass way to save what we now know as her monumental political ambitions.

As Linda Tripp observed, not only was Clinton given a pass....but the Hollywood glitterati ponied up bigtime for a fellow sexual deviate.....and financed Clinton's sex mess defense bigtime.

Herewith, for your edification, are the Certified Democrat Degenerates......the scum that vilify and destroy America's Judeo-Christian ethics and values in movies promoted as being "diverse, politically correct, and socially relevant."

HOLLYWOOD'S CERTIFIED DEMOCRAT DEGENERATES
FINANCED BILL CLINTON'S LEWINSKY SEX MESS

According to FEC Info, an Internet Web site (www.tray.com) that tracks federal political contributions, 176 individual donors actually contributed $10,000 or more to the lewinsky-era Clinton Legal Expense Trust fund through Dec 1999. Another 21 donors gave $10,000 in the first six months of 2000.

Thanks to Hollywood's generosity, a total of more than $2.2 million was raised in six months, which was notably more than was collected in funding during the previous four years of his presidency—combined. Hollywood producers and stars made up the bulk of the most generous givers. They included:

<><> Universal Studios tycoon Lew Wasserman and his wife, Edith, gave $60,000;

<><>DreamWorks trio Steven Spielberg, David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg, $20,000 each;

<><> producer Ron Burkle and his wife, Janet, $40,000;

<><> producers Peg and Bud Yorkin, $30,000;

<><> TV producer Norman Lear, $20,000.

Entertainment celebrities and executives giving $10,000 included:

<><> singers Tony Bennett and feminist Barbra Streisand;

<><><> actors Michael Douglas and Tom Hanks;

<><> director Ron Howard; producer Gail Zappa;

<><>Black Entertainment Television founder Robert L. Johnson.

<><> How did the Hollyood elite list payments to Clinton's sex defense fund on their corporate statements AND on their tax returns?

<><>How did the "DreamWorks" trio, Steven Spielberg, David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg, list their 60,000 dollars to Clinton's sex defense fund?

<><>How did BET list its contribution to Clinton on its corporate statements?

<><> Did Harvey's company list these payments as "business expenses?"

The biggie is the tax element.

<><> Did donors deduct it as a “business expense”,

<><> was it included in assets, payments listed on organization balance sheets as a "liability?"

<><> Did Clinton document it as "income"?

<><> Were the donors given a tax-free certificate from the Clinton Foundation?

When Bill Clinton was at the height of the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal, Hollywood was by his side, offering donations for his legal fees, and one significant donor was a man who is now going through his own sex scandal—Harvey Weinstein.

Billionaire Harvey Weinstein raised $1,422,683 for federal candidates and political entities between 1990-2016. That’s small potatoes for his 27 years of rank Democratism, sucking up to feminism and upholding so-called abortion rights as he rampaged and assaulted young women. Adds up to about $5300 a year.

Something tells me there are a lot of cash payments off-the-record being paid. (hat tip outpostinmass2) Crunching the numbers as outpost did does give us a sharper look at the political money game as played by the conniving Clintons.

Harvey also gave a bundle to the nefarious tax-exempt Clinton Foundation and perhaps to offshoots of the Clintons tax-free entities.

Did Harvey's donations to the C/F go to "do-good projects"? Or did they make a circuitous route? Maybe landing back into the Clintons eternal political scams?

Just watched an interview with Joe Cammarata on Fox, Paula Jones lawyer who deposed Bill... I believe he also represented a woman whom Cosby libeled.

Certainly a tremendous legal mind!

Now that would be worth watching. Thanks. I’ve often wondered if any part of that was online. I’d love to see some of those speakers again - Jim Rogan (who lost his seat to that weasel Schiff), David Schippers (counsel for the impeachment) and others I’ve long forgotten..

“””On December 10, 1998, Schippers said to the committee: “The President, then, has lied under oath in a civil deposition, lied under oath in a criminal grand jury. He lied to the people, he lied to his Cabinet, he lied to his top aides, and now he’s lied under oath to the Congress of the United States. There’s no one left to lie to.”[3]”””

Thanks for that link also. I don’t want to be irritated all over again but I’ll come back to watch it.. Some of us are just fools for punishment. I had the huge Clinton Chronicles book and loaned it to a friend, then moved and never got the book back. That’s ok as I got rid of all my Clinton books when we packed to leave CA - didn’t want the bad mojo in our new home.

I hadn’t heard about this before this thread but I can’t help but wonder why the Clintons haven’t been raising a stink about such a show. Maybe they’ve learned something over all these years - don’t call attention to it! But I find it odd that Chelsea hasn’t weighed in. None of them seem to be able to keep their mouths shut for long.
