The White House has canceled their planned meeting with lawmakers to roll out their immigration “framework” that gives U.S. citizenship to at least 1.8 million illegal aliens, as Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer demands more concessions from the administration. A statement from pro-open borders Sen. Dick Durbin’s (D-IL) office revealed that White House advisers — including Gen. John Kelly, former Koch brothers executive Marc Short, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Kirstjen Nielsen, and senior adviser Stephen Miller — have canceled their Monday rollout of the amnesty package.
DHS spokesperson Tyler Houlton, though, called the canceled rollout a “scheduling issue,” saying that the canceling was not due to other reasons.

I would add English fluency requirements and a curtailing of legal immigration from uncivilized countries coupled with an expansion of immigration from civilized countries like those of Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Britain, Ireland, and Scandinavia.

All I would add is that any temporary hold on deportations is tied to actual implementation, not promises, of those points.
If any part is not implemented, or is struck down by a court, the temporary amnesty ends.
Extend DACA one year at at time. At the end of each year, if progress is made on all of these points, and none have been struck down or canceled, another extension is granted.
History should have shown us, we cannot accept amnesty for promises; we cannot even accept amnesty for funding (funds will be allocated, just never spent).
Also, the lottery visas should not be reallocated just canceled.

We might be surprised at how many Rat votes we could flip to our side if Rat crimes, child abuse, etc., were to be exposed soon. They might pipe down and show a smidge of humility in attempt to avoid prison.

Also, maybe offer Green Card status to “Dreamers” (they aren’t) ONLY if they (1) pass a test to prove proficiency in English; (2) have a marketable skill, preferably professional or quasi-professional; and (3) haven’t benefited from U.S. welfare for any period of more than three consecutive months.

It caused Pelosi to say that legalizing 1.8 million people, 95% of them BLACK or BROWN, will “make America WHITE again”. If nothing else, it was worth it just for that. Her brain is shriveling quickly, but it’s kinda fun to watch.
Trump should rent out Met Life stadium, invite a hundred thousand Dreamers and make them all citizens on the spot. Chuck’s head would explode!
Personally, at this point I am sick and tired of all the time and energy spent on the topic of foreigners just because they happen to be on our soil. America and its people have issues we need addressed. Life’s too short for this BS.
They better make the cancelation for the reasons we voted DJT into office - no amnesty.

Yes, I think it’s all going according to plan. He’s making the Democrats look like losers in the eyes of their supporters. He makes these great sounding offers early in the negotiations and then pulls them back. When it’s all said and done the Dem voters will be thinking their leaders should have made a quick deal rather than holding out for more.

Exactly!!!! President Trump knew that Schumer would refuse it - now he can do what he needs to do to get the wall built.
Remember when THE President stated that he would sign any bill that came to his desk as a compromise over the shut down and some on our side were worked up?
The President said this because he knew the dems would never agree - a similar tactic was going on here (and it worked).
