Agreed. Year before last, I was at a church service in Penang, Malaysia and was informed that Muslims were not invited to visit. This was shocking but not surprising. To allow a local Muslim in was to invite a government raid and arrest of the “apostate” and the congregation was understandably tired of it.

Just know, whatever you learn: it is possible to identify with both...Both branches of Christianity are tainted with sin. Both branches have “real Christians” and “fake Christians” among them. And at this point in history, both are in need of the other to keep each other accountable to the Bible and to history.
I am a confirmed Catholic with some Protestant leanings...and I am all for worshipping with Eastern Orthodox Christians also.
