Senate candidate wants daughters to be homemakers, not ‘career obsessed banshees’

A Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Missouri has ignited a social media firestorm with a Facebook post in which he calls feminists “she devils” and expounds on how he wants his wife to cook his dinner.

Courtland Sykes, who campaigned on behalf of Senate candidate Roy Moore in Alabama last month, posted to Facebook Tuesday the transcript of a September interview during which he was asked about women’s rights.

Sykes, a Navy veteran and political newcomer, said he rejects “radical feminism’s crazed definition of modern womanhood” and that he wants daughters who will be homemakers rather than “career obsessed banshees” or “nailbiting manophobic feminist she devils.”

In the transcript, Sykes claims that feminism has “oppressed natural womanhood” and comments on how his fiancée knows that he expects her to make dinner when they marry.

“I want to come home to a home-cooked dinner at six every night, one that she fixes and one that I expect my daughters to learn to fix after they become traditional homemakers and family wives,” Sykes said.

He goes onto say that feminists have redefined womanhood to “suit their own nasty, snake-filled heads” before launching into a criticism of 2016 Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

“Modern women can BE anything they want, including traditional women — as millions are fast becoming. Millennial women voters despised Hillary and cost her the election (and they weren’t Russians!). I wonder why they despise her? One reason is they look at her personal life’s wreckage and didn’t want to become like her,” he said.

Well, I don’t know. I have seen a lot of elderly women who were traditional housewives back in the day who are impoverished in their old age because they never made their own income. I’m a single woman in my sixties who is a homebody by nature...hate being out in the jungle. But I’m also glad I worked my whole life because I have my own funds to fall back on, small though they may be.

I’m hearing shockingly low amounts of pushback... it’s almost as if the Overton window has moved a bit.

I half expect the Democrats hired this guy in an attempt to distract from McCaskill’s dismal record. There is a way to responsibly discuss the negative impact of the feminist movement upon women. This is not it.

The sin of feminism is that it discounts and devalues full-time wives and mothers. They see that choice as completely illegitimate, women can only find satisfaction in the workplace or if they are full time moms, they should be dependent upon government instead of a man. This bozo goes to the other extreme.

Using “I expect” sounds like he is dictating the parameters of his upcoming marriage and his daughters lives. Men should be a partner to their wife, not dictator. He should provide counsel to his daughters, but not direct their lives.

I hope he gets pounded like a narc at a biker rally during the primary.

There’s a decent chance the state Pubbies did this, not the Dems. It’s not like the GOP wants Trump to make any gains in the Senate.

If conservatives was good candidates, they will have to find and run them themselves. Without local, state, and national GOP “help”.

You are assuming all bikers are druggies who would physically assault people. How is that different from assuming all women should be homemakers?

And Luther Strange had a lock on the Alabama nomination, too.

Radical feminists want women who can pay taxes to the NWO. It is hard with the high tax rates for a family not to have 2 earners. Plus working women tend to have less children, so population control.

It is fine to want to be business women and have their own funds and do all that stuff, but civilization and the future do not belong to the women who choose that role.

The future belongs to those who embrace what a mother really is. The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.

Ask the Democrat party where their voters will be coming from?

And I know way too many women in the nursing homes who chose the worlds idea of success over God’s and have no one in their old age. But they have really nice nursing homes from all their money.

I get the idea that guys from defense and particularly navy intelligence are being encouraged to fan out across the country as candidates to assure that MAGA succeeds. This guy, for example, is a pure carpetbagger to Missouri.

But these are mostly young conservative bucks who haven’t been in the civilian world long enough in adulthood to learn what can and should be said and not said even as candidates dedicated to the Trump agenda.

Essentially, it is not as easy as Trump makes it look.

This nitwit (Courtland Sykes) is going nowhere. JOSH HAWLEY (the Senate Conservatives Fund endorsed candidate) is the candidate that conservative patriots should support. Josh will send the ‘RAT Claire McCaskell out of the US Senate and will be a SOLID supporter of President Trump’s agenda.
