What could De Blasio, the Communist Mayor of New York City, possibly know about America's core values?
OK, I guess that one of his aides might have dug up a copy of "America's Core Values for Dummies" which 'hizzoner' might have glanced through at one time or another, but get real - De Blasio has no more clue about America's 'core values' than Barack Obama ever had.

These dying leftist places need more than ever to reach out to Trump, because he has every reason to write them off; he’ll never carry those states in the general election, and in the case of my state of NJ, we have two Dem senators, a Dem governor - no reason at all for Trump to put us on par with states that will support his agenda.
Obama did the same thing, with an FU to Middle America for 8 years - which promptly roared back and elected Trump.
While in the White house, the Mayor could be arrested with no lawyers present to whine about his salvation of the american way

Yes, I remember Obama ignoring us. I live in Kentucky, and he has only visited us twice. The first time was a stop in Louisville, just before the 2008 primary. The second time was a trip to Fort Campbell in 2011, to thank the SEALs who bagged Osama bin Laden. Both visits were brief, not lasting more than 2-3 hours, so you can’t say he got a good look at the state.
