Levin: Mueller probe has become a ‘silent coup’ against POTUS
Conservative Review ^ | January 23, 2018 | Jordan Schachtel

The CRTV host argued that Mueller is trying to “destroy” Trump.

CRTV host Mark Levin began his radio show Tuesday by saying that special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the election is slowly turning into a “silent coup” attempt against President Trump’s legitimacy.

Levin explained, “I have personally come to the conclusion, after reading leaks today from Robert Mueller’s office … that in fact, he’s not building a criminal case against the president for obstruction, but he is building an obstruction case.”

Levin argued that Mueller will target the president by accusing Trump of trying to “derail an investigation.” A constitutional attorney, Levin predicted that Mueller will intimidate people under investigation into making hostile statements against the president.

Mueller is not interested in bringing charges, Levin explained, arguing that the goal is to try to “destroy” President Trump.

“This is exactly why Robert Mueller has surrounded himself with Democrat and liberal apparatchiks,” he added, reminding the radio audience of Mueller’s highly partisan team of prosecutors.

Levin explained that although the Trump-Russia narrative is collapsing, the Left is not at all concerned with the facts of the matter, only the end game that leads to President Trump’s dismissal from office.

Yes it is a coup by the FBI and CIA. If the Democrats take the house there is a 100% chance of impeachment. If and when Nancy Pelosi get Trump impeached there will be Republican senators voting to remove Trump from office. It is as plain as day to me.

Form a grand jury and get an indictment before Mueller rolls out his charges. That is the easiest way to stop the charade.

You can say that because you didn’t listen to Levin during the primaries and during the general election.

You’re speaking from a position of ignorance.

The FBI has become the KGB... Bunch of thugs who steal the vote from the people. Think they’re so much smarter than mere ‘deplorables’.

I want these ‘agents’ arrested for attempting a coup against the people of the United States. FBI goons chose to nullify the voice of the American people. And their fellow agents didn’t out them...

What’s next? Gulags for citizens to disagree with ‘the elites’?

In that case, Libby did lie under oath. Of course, he never should have been questioned, as you point out.

Still, Trump can't obstruct an investigation simply by exercising his constitutional authority. And he has authority to hire and fire; and to decide which criminal charges are investigated.

In order to show obstruction, Mueller would also have to find that Trump perjured himself, or asked others to lie; destroyed evidence; or bribed witnesses. Something along those lines. So far, this has the makings of the weakest obstruction case ever. The best Mueller can hope for is Abuse of Power, not in a criminal sense, but in a political sense. Don't be surprised if we start hearing that phrase brought up next. This is only going to end with a report to Congress. No indictments against Trump will ever see the light of day.

Yeah, what most worries me is the supposed insiders telling us all is fine, while they think they have some of the original plotters somehow turned to their side.

Who is to say they are not double turned? Given the suspects, that seems most likely to me.

There’s only one accurate book about Watergate and it’s called “Silent Coup”. That’s what G. Gordon Liddy says...and he was there.

Richard Armitage did.

BTW, on a side note...

Did you know that Armitage's grandson is the kid who plays Young Sheldon on CBS?

They really do believe that they can just get rid of an elected President with flimsy drivel and that nobody will do anything. They’re picking the wrong President to do it to. The very reason he was elected is because of this garbage.

It will not be tolerated.

I believe the entire sequence of events makes it pretty certain Sessions is a Trojan horse sent to help block Trump if not sink him from the inside. I see no other explanation for his behavior. He is not stupid or uneducated either to the law or the ways of DC. If he was this passive during his entire career, I don’t see how he could have risen through the steps of his career. So the only answer to me is that he is complicit.

People are much too relaxed about this.

You are correct, a coup is underway and it is not going to be stopped by lawyers or indictments. The conspirators (who, I presume, are Obama, Jarrett, Holder, and possibly Brennan) have not deployed all of their forces yet and will continue the fight until they are suppressed by force.

Blaming this on a sick old drunk woman is foolish. HRC was a prop, a stand-in for continuing the Obama-Jarrett regime, and since she failed to do one simple thing she’s been discarded like a broken toy.

We do not know how deep and how powerful the coup plotters’ reserves are. They may command the loyalty of some generals who would be willing to roll the tanks.

I also don’t know if Paul Ryan (Romney) is in on the deal. I certainly would not be surprised if Ryan is coordinating with Mueller (who he praised highly recently) and is planning to use some phony charges to send Articles to the Senate.

Trump had better be prepared to use force, and I mean up to and including calling out the Militia to break up and arrest “combinations too powerful to be suppressed by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, or by the powers vested in the U.S. Marshals by law”.

And give the Democrats fodder to impeach Trump if they win the House in Nov.

You need to worry less about the Democrats, and more about the Republicans.

I’ve made many posts pointing out that Sessions was as dirty as the rest of them He wormed his way into the administration to block any cleanup, and he jumped at the recusal to make it even easier for him to allow the deep state to continue. He’s complicit in the coup.

Absolutely correct. I’m glad at least some people can see the truth about Sessions.

I listen to him almost every day. He did not support him during the primaries but that doesn’t make him never anything. The primaries ended some time ago. Typically during a primary they are very heated and one person wins. Mark backed the wrong horse but that doesn’t make him never anything. If that were the case then call me never because I didn’t support Trump during the primaries. I do now however as does Levin the day we cast votes is the day we supported our President.
