When they brought William “Ryan” Owens home, the Navy SEAL was carried from a C-17 military plane in a flag-draped casket, onto the tarmac at Dover Air Force Base, as President Donald Trump, his daughter, Ivanka, and Owens’ family paid their respects.

As I recall, the father admittedly had a somewhat estranged relationship with his son after the parents divorced, living in different states etc Most striking was the fathers indifference and attitude towards his son’s widow. The widow was definitely not on the same page as her FIL.

Mission was planned while Obama was President. Execution of plan was delayed to coincide with moonless night which didn’t occur until Trump was sworn in.
His son was a NAVY SEAL. He wasn’t a member of the National Guard. Guarantee his son was stoked and fully prepared for mission.
Investigate what? NOTHING will bring his son back.
I am sorry a good Navy seal was killed. But how can people not know that death on a mission is a very real possibility? I don’t know the merits of the mission but our troops are not promised that every fight will be perfectly planned and executed. When a mission like this goes bad people should not assume ill intent or rash judgment on the part of the President.
My late brother in-law was a Delta Team Leader until his death in Iraq on Christmas Eve in 2005. He once told my in-laws - all of them, “If I’m killed in action and you do anything to embarrass me, my unit or the Army, I will come back and haunt your sorry asses!”
The families of Benghazi were told the truth by Oz (I know him personally), and the other surviving teammates.

Ohhh...I am unaware of any circumstance of gross government incompetence leading to death, where the government admits it within the lifetime of those in power. So your expectations are a bit high I think.
