What an ingenious idea. Raiding homes and farms to feed your army is usually only done in occupied territory, but think how much more they can get by stealing from their own people...
I seem to recall years ago threads about U.S. Military training events in our cities. Of course all sorts of conspiracy theories. Although I do recall reading various laws that could be read that during martial law, troops COULD take stuff or use your home. I’m not sure how that musters with our 3rd and 4th amendments. Or the 2nd and rule .308
It also means that the end is near as those last resort measures have limits and aren’t sustainable.
Unknown to the raiders the farmers stool on the food they give up ensuring the troops all get worms
Can’t get much by stealing from people who have nothing to steal.
