All 50,000 of them? That’s how many texts the FBI apparently “lost” in their retention system during the period of time in which agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page carried on an extramarital affair — and might have injected partisan bias into the probe of Russian interference in the election. The bureau previously turned over 375 messages to congressional investigators, but when the panels asked for a broader range of messages, the FBI discovered that the messages had been deleted.
Jeff Sessions pledged to “leave no stone unturned” in getting those texts back, while Donald Trump continued to slam the FBI for its performance issues:
The Justice Department’s inspector general is investigating why the FBI did not retain text messages for five months, including those exchanged by two senior officials involved in the probes of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said late Monday that he has spoken to Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz about the missing text messages and that “a review is already underway to ascertain what occurred” and determine whether the missing text messages can be recovered.
“We will leave no stone unturned to confirm with certainty why these text messages are not now available to be produced and will use every technology available to determine whether the missing messages are recoverable from another source,” Sessions said in a statement.

The recusal and all that has followed has removed him as a target, when considering his loyalty to, and support of DJT. He would have been the easiest excuse for the Dems/deepstate to STOP THE INVESTIGATION. It would have been Ken Starr all over again. The Dems + Deep State + MSM, could have handily driven Sessions from office. They specialize in trickery, deceipt, fabrication and falsehoods.
What this country is going through now, at it's highest levels, has never before happened in its history. It's incredibly hard to be patient, but we're all being told a long, complicated, involved and often twisted story...in little bites.
It's not the fault of AG Sessions, or President Trump, or any of the good men and women on the side of righteousness and light, that they have to behave this way. You can't identify sneaky devious people by being open and behaving as you normally would.
We're pretty close to seeing publication of The Memo. We've learned a tremendous amount of good intelligence on the bad people. Even though they may not always be in complete harmony every second, I trust President Trump his loyal band of patriots.

First step: Issue an about query to NSA on Strzok’s and Page’s phone numbers.
Step 2: Go after the other numbers (including Strzok’s and Page’s personal cell phones) and users (unmask) of the other numbers in the “Secret Society” network.
Step 3: Perform the same queries on the FBI’s Digital Collection System (DCS-3000), which is NOT dependent on the on-device storage of communications.
Step 4: Bring Mr. Wray, Mr. Bitko (CIO) and Mr. Turgal (Executive AD, IT Branch) before Congress and, in a public hearing, find out where the hell those texts went and who is responsible.
Yeah, I know, another “distraction” to deflect from the real Russia investigation, right Schiff, you lying dipshit?

One theory. Perhaps just perhaps Someone did delete the messages. It was discovered some time ago and the messages were recovered. Would it not be prudent to withhold this info until the exact circumstances ( Who, What, When, Where, Why and How ) were discovered and an ironclad case be built against the culprits. This would explain why the FBI waited so long to deliver the data.
As to why the FBI is withholding the deleted messages perhaps the info is so damning to parts of FBI (we are talking 7 Days in May stuff) that the American people must be prepared for it and the Bad Guys must be allowed to think a slender chance exist that they can survive.
And then when all is known and the American people are prepared the Hammer Falls Hard.
