The media seems obsessed over the “shutdown.” I’m not. Just wish it would all shut down for a long time.
It's drama, I suppose, although I am leaning toward the theory that it served as cover for the very real problems their party is going to have with the IG memo. That isn't going away, and the "illegals over soldiers" meme was starting to bite with November looming. Expect a sudden wave of patriotism.
