I grew up in Carteret. Hardly redneck. Lots of racing, though.

You don’t know a damn thing about racers with that comment.

The raceway has been used for parking cars in the past few years. When Hurricane Sandy hit, cars that were getting insurance adjuster claims were parked there, as there are now cars parked in Texas at a raceway from Hurricane Harvey.

There apparently is more $$$$ to be made by parking cars on that property for longer periods than just one week of drag racing.
