This one kicked me right in the head and I lost my cool and started punching it as hard as I could. It turned it’s head and looked to see what was going on. Didn’t even pause chewing.

I've seen videos of kosher slaughter where they stick a cow right through the neck with a sharp knife and the cow just turns and gives them a funny look.

He should receive the same penalty as he would for assaulting a human police officer.

I am fairly sure that a police animal is treated the same as an officer by law. He should have been charged with bolo.

Around here you could get the first punch, and if quick a second punch, but you might not remember much after that.

They really do need to teach the horses to rear, paw with their shod hooves, and kick on command as the Knights of old did.

other Great Fan Moments in Philadelphia History, along side throwing snowballs at Santa.

Another myth

Real facts about that incident are NOT what people think

Philly fans have enough true facts to make them look like fools but that is not one of them

Cattle are tough but like any living creature it has a soft spot. The sides and face ain’t it.

A young bull got me cornered is the barn one day. I was hanging from the stall rafter and seriously worried.
Then I remembered something my dad had told me if I couldn’t get away from an attacking cow.

When the bull got close enough I reached down and hit it hard as I could on the topknot on top of the head.
That bull went down like a man who had taken a hard blow to the groin.

When the bull managed to get off it’s knees it meekly wandered out of the barn.
I made sure I shut the dang barn door.

Veterans Stadium had cells and a municipal court judge on game days

That tells you something about Philthadelphia ...

>>I’m a soft heart on animals. Anyone who harms one is trash.<<

Fortunately I’ve never witnessed anyone abusing an animal because there’s nothing more likely to make me lose my cool and hurt such a person in a really bad way.

Wow! Never knew that. I was around a few bulls that had a bad reputation. I never let myself get anywhere where I was vulnerable.

I work a lot and contribute to our local shelter (WIAR Illinois) last week we took in eight dogs from a raided puppy mill in southern Illinois. It’s incomprehensible to me that someone can treat an animal this way. Butch, my gentle giant rescue Rottie is snoring beside me now after the usual evening of snuggling and treats. He’s getting old and gets stove up easily so I built thermostatically controlled heat into his house this year. He’s not spoiled, he deserves it.

We were careful around the cattle because they can hurt you without meaning to. A friend got stuck behind a shorthorn that just backed up pinning him against the wall. Broke a few ribs bruised him up pretty bad.

The bull I tangled with was away from the herd. Most were out of sight. This one ambled up to the barn for some reason. He was always poking his nose into things.
We sold him a couple of weeks later.

I was at the livestock market once when some people brought in a mean bull.
They had to use gates to pin him to the front of the trailer and made the workers at the market clear the chute before the turned him out.
When the bull hit the run to the weigh station he slammed into the tower that housed the guy manning the scale. He wasn’t still long enough to get a weight.
The market refused to run him in the ring because he was so violent.
The seller didn’t get much for the bull, they were just happy to be rid of the beast.

I’ve seen a couple of violent bovines.

Crazy Ivan, you’re a great role model for me and for others who know about your work on behalf of abandoned and abused animals. God bless you.
