Taylor Hendricks, 22, was removed from Lincoln Financial Field before the start of the Eagles' NFL playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons by stadium personnel who said he arrived intoxicated and was unable to produce a ticket.

This can now be added to the list of other Great Fan Moments in Philadelphia History, along side throwing snowballs at Santa. Pity they removed the jail cells from Lincoln Financial (Veterans Stadium had cells and a municipal court judge on game days).

Didn’t the fans also cheer when Michael Irvin was paralyzed on the field?

I know a guy who punched a burro right between the eyes. He broke his hand.

The only thing meaner than a drunken Philadelphia fan is a Detroit Lions’ player.

In Philly this known as “No News”. After all, what’s a fan to do?

His punishment should be to walk behind the horse with a shovel for 2 weeks.

The punishment should fit the crime. Assault a horse, get horse whipped.

I don’t know if the new stadium has it
but the old stadium had jail cells to hold unruly fans until the police can take them downtown.

In fact, you know it's bad when you find yourself agreeing with Fast Eddie:
"This, in terms of bad taste, was as bad as it gets," said Mayor Edward Rendell, an avid sports fan....There's no excuse for what we did.

I’m a soft heart on animals. Anyone who harms one is trash. But......this is a horse. All the guy did was make a fool of himself. I’ve spent a lot of time with livestock. I helped run a dairy heard one summer and one of the cows was a royal pain, always kicking and such. You were in a kind of slit trench servicing them which meant a straight punch would hit them square in the side. This one kicked me right in the head and I lost my cool and started punching it as hard as I could. It turned it’s head and looked to see what was going on. Didn’t even pause chewing.

Horses have a remarkable memory, may that horse remember that particular fan and upon seeing that one fan again, bite and kick him.
