Support for the new tax law is increasing, according to a new poll, though it still isn't favored by a majority.

The poll, conducted for The New York Times, found that 46 percent of respondents strongly or somewhat support the plan, up from 37 percent in December.

I believe it won’t be until mid-February that most Americans see the results in their paychecks.

People really will not totally get it actually until spring of 2019. Between now and then, the media will distort it endlessly.

When the law was passed and there were calculators posted, it looked like we’d wind up with several thousand dollars more.

Season tickets and luxury boxes are going to tank like you would not believe. Country Clubs were DECIMATED when you could no longer deduct the dues.

NFL, you are going to reap the whirlwind of destruction...for the wages of sin are death.....

He he!

A restaurant that plays sports in their establishment. I wonder if they’ll be able to deduct the cable fees as some legit business expense then or not?

...though it still isn't favored by a majority.

There are some big dummies that don't like more money in their pockets or in their paychecks.

It's also too early to get people to see the benefits. Too many people not paying attention to the news.

There are also too many liberals who will not give credit to somebody they didn't vote for and who they hate, even if they receive huge benefits from the tax cuts.

Entertainment not deductible, high local taxes in the liberal states not deductible – do not mess with the Trump!

Bob Hope skit. Puppies are born democrat. They are blind and suckle from the community teat. A few of weeks later, they become republican when their eyes open and they find out they can fend for themselves.
Perhaps the new tax law will open a few eyes.

Not really. Some people in this country aren't that smart. An increase in weekly paychecks will be understandable. The impact when they file taxes will be lost on them.

That’s because the liberal media campaign of lies has stopped and the positive effects were immediate.

Wait until at least March, when most people start getting bigger paychecks and/or bonuses, then take a poll. Taking a poll now, with the dems and their media lapdogs still in full attack against it, really isn’t the way to find out how people feel about it.

Forty six percent approve now; wait a few weeks and it will be over 50% and never go down.

It’s a testament to the power fake news still holds that people are against giving less money to a government they clearly don’t trust.
