Al Sharpton hit President Donald Trump for his weight during comments marking Martin Luther King Jr., Day in Harlem, quipping he should order three Big Macs instead of two.
According to New York Times writer Shane Goldmacher, Sharpton complimented New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D.) as a "national celebrity" and, perhaps alluding to potential White House ambitions, said Trump should "get your best gloves out" before making the joke about Trump's fondness for fast food.
It's a noteworthy comment from Sharpton, given his former obesity.
The now slimmed down-Sharpton once weighed more than 300 pounds. In 2014, the New York Daily News profiled Sharpton's mega-diet that had him down to just 129 pounds as of that publication, and he has maintained that skinny profile since.

Sharpton, a civil rights activist and MSNBC host, has known Trump for decades due to their long ties to New York City.
Doesn’t Sharpton still owe back taxes?
William Taft the President weighed 332 lbs... and Grover Cleveland 275lbs. Donald Trump will have to eat a lot of Big Macs to catch up.
Would this be a case of the kettle calling the pot black?
Also....
Someone once asked what alsharpton would look like with the $hiite kicked out of him.
I would be tempted to say he accomplished something with all that weight loss BUT it does appear to be medically caused..
At least when he was ‘fat’ he looked healthy but today he resembles death warmed over....
I don’t think it was a fat joke as much as a desire for Trump to have a heart attack.
Math is not his strong suit.
Today sucks.
is this the dream MLKJr had?
I turned on the TV this morn and there was this black dude disrespecting President Trump. I didn’t wait to find out who this dude was. Sadly, I wasn’t aware at the time that that was just a clue as to what this day was to become.
national dump on Trump day.
And you should snort more coke, Al.
Take more Viagra. I hear it’s good for ya.
Trump should tell “renta riot” to pay his taxes, or end up bent over a cot 24/7 in prison....Note..that threat wouldn’t work with Obama.
ONCE BIG AL has PRESIDENT TRUMP Big Mac envy.
“Howd they shrink Al except his head?”
Because he signed on to being a “human Pez dispenser!” On the “distaff side,” we have Rosie O’Donnell.
The President is husky, not fat.
I’m on the PDJT should cool it with the unhealthy food. I think it’s been more show to connect to the working class. I want PDJT to live to at least 80 with sound mind and body so he can be reelected in 2020 and serve his full term.
The President is too important to our country and the world not to go on a healthy diet and slowly start an exercise program.
We need Trump for the long-term.
Perhaps not as delicious as Big Macs, KFC, and pizza...but still delicious.
I am on a low carb diet and my weight is under control...yet I still enjoy fried chicken and an occasional fast food burger.
Pizza on the other hand is too much of an addiction.
I wish I could be locked in a cell for a week once a year with a few good pizzas.
Pizza would be my last meal of choice before old sparky if that were my fate.
It depends what is unhealthy.
I read someplace that PDJT eats fast food because there's a lesser chance of it being poisoned. He doesn't seem the type to want to have a personal chef travel with him. Maybe Melania could prepare PBJ sammiches....Also,doesn't he look larger because he wears a bullet proof vest?
As to PDJT being reelected in 2020, I can't imagine life without President Trump being President. I say this and he hasn't even finished serving his first year.
MLK would be ashamed of their behavior.
