Roseann Barr has had a headshaker of a past but she
is friendly, if not friends with the President. I hope
that her part reflects a smart-assed insulter of
liberals. I’ll give it a look.
Nick, could you be confusing Roseann Barr with Rosie
O’Donnell? Barr did, indeed, start as a working class
comic but I am not so sure about O’Donnell.
Yep. Haven’t seen any reruns in many years, but, it always seemed to me that meathead was, well, a meathead, a smug sanctimonious liberal , and his character displayed that.
NO, Rosie O’Donnell started out as a working class stand up. She was very different in tone and content.
I loved Roseanne when it was on, so I’m going to watch it. Yes, I wonder if Jerry Garcia Conner will be introduced? I know they’ll have one of kids being a crossdresser, but if done in good taste (like Klinger in MASH), it’ll be fine.
I didn’t get into that show. Hope you enjoy this one.

I do wonder what other types of comedians there are out
there? And, what kind of a comedian is Roseann Barr? She
seems even more “working class” than Rosie. I recall
that a bunch of her early shtick was from the POV of
a couch potato, bon-bon eating, trailer park diva. I
think she might have worn a moo-moo on stage a time
or two.

Roseann Barr has had a conversion of sorts....she’s a HUGE trump fan. I don’t think she’s going to let them make a joke of that. If she does this right this show’s ratings are going to be through the roof.

I don't know. I had heard she had a huge dislike of Clinton and so maybe that started it. I just did a bit of research and she's a fairly recent convert to Judaism as well. I might guess that being in hollywood she could easily see the disconnect between the values that hollywood preaches and what they actually do.

They say they believe that people should take money out of politics and then, you know, they send their paycheck to Bernie and off he goes to hang out with the pope on a private jet on that money. The f—in' Pope, are you shittin' me?! And nobody just gives you money, they're not like, 'Here's three million, you look good, your hair is nice.' No. It's like, 'Hey, I'm giving you this money so you can pimp my products when it comes time.'
Yup. Rosie O’donnell is exactly what you described her to be. Roseanne is quite the opposite! We’re big fans of her here and she is a huge Trump fan! She was liberal and has become more and more conservative as she has aged.

When I corrected you, I thought you were talking about the person in CONTEXT, Roseanne Barr. You were talking about Rosie O’Donnell. You had Rosie and Roseanne confused.
So you were right and wrong at the same time. Rosie is a man hater. But not Roseanne Barr (who I thought you were referring to as Rosie).
