Health officials said Thursday that 11 Travis County residents have died during the current flu season. Earlier in the week, Austin Public Health (APH) reported seven deaths.

I rescheduled a routine Doctors appointment I had for this week just because I didn’t want to be in a waiting room full of sick flu patients. It’s pretty bad here in Texas. Just been lucky so far. And now the cedar pollen has people sneezing and coughing all over central Texas.
Look at all these outbreaks we’ve suffered in the last few years of diseases we had eradicated. You can trace them entirely back to the illegals.
The pharma industry just never stops lobbying for bigger, more expensive and more coercive vaccination programs.
Well, we have eradicated the flu and there are so many anti-vaccine people now.
Trumps fault.
If we just had Obamacare, EVERYBODY would be healthy.
There’d be no sickness or sorrow.
Influenza isnt a disease brought to the US via illegal aliens. It springs froth mostly from Southeast Asia and is spread through ordinary travel in most cases, tourist and business travel or in the case the Spanish Flu, from troop movements during WWI.
That Flu You Caught? It Came from East and Southeast Asia

My 91 year old MIL got diagnosed with Type A flu yesterday (it’s been going around her Assisted Living home). Funny, she got a flu shot....supposedly that fights TYPE A!
Instead of the usual 2 hour grocery run, I cut it down to a fast half hour yesterday and grabbed 6 of each item to delay having to go back soon. And went early at opening time to avoid as many germs as possible. Came home and immediately washed my hands and arms before and after unloading. Mr. b is getting annoyed at me telling him to wash up when coming home.
I got hit with a flu bug on Wednesday hard and got put on Tamiflu. The stuff helped me so much.
As of today, I am maybe 98%.
Good thinkin’. Wash those hands and take your vitamin C!
And, Vitamin D3....I’ve been hit with something....think I’m beating it...took about 20,000iu of Vit D3 yesterday.
I wasn’t really referring to the flu being brought in.
It springs froth mostly from Southeast Asia

Interesting. The Far East and Asia are now approaching the
Southern border illegal entries. The difference being that
the Far East people come in on a Legal Visa but don’t leave.
Culling the herd of the anti vaxers.
We have not eradicated the flu. It won’t happen using today’s technology and a growing population of anti-vaccine people, not just in 3rd world countries, we now have a significant population in the US. Many will be culled from the herd, but the anti vax movement will provide lots of targets for a resurgence of the flu.
No vaccine is ever going to protect all of the vaccinated. In a good year efficacy is only 80% and the elderly have a weak immune reponse anyway. I am sorry for her illness and pray she survives.
*haven’t
I meant “haven’t”.
You are lucky you caught it early because Tamiflu often fails if people wait too long to take it.
