Vermont Senate approves recreational marijuana bill
Senate lawmakers shortly before 1:30 p.m. took a voice vote in favor of a bill approved by the House last week. It will allow adults 21 and older to possess up to one ounce of marijuana and to grow two mature plants and four immature plants.
The vote make Vermont the first state in the county to authorize the recreational use of marijuana by an act of the Legislature as opposed to a ballot measure.
The current bill does not contain language to regulate the production and sale of marijuana, as has been done in Colorado and other states.
The Vermont Chiefs of Police Association is not for the bill.
Governor Phil Scott says he will sign the bill.

This may be a good thing. It should go national. We get all the libs stoned out of their minds and take the Country back. Then deport them to wherever their ancestors came from with a month’s supply of weed.
Good for Vermont. A state excercised its rightful power under the 10th Amendment and told big fedgov to eff off.

A local had a snowmobile accident. He was going too fast and hit a tree. Laid in the snow till someone found him. The cop said he was higher than a kite. The guess was pot. How do we test these people when they finally kill someone? You can test for alcohol but what about dope? What is our recourse?

Unfortunately, in Vermont, one of the easiest methods of getting away with murder is by driving while drunk or drugged. Recent case of a heroin addict who killed two senior citizens after shooting up and driving. Sentenced to ‘time served’ while awaiting trial. My bet is the number of those killed on the roads increases.
The towns still have it legal, though.
This is going to interesting when the actual enforcement begins.

If you can’t ride high, you shouldn’t be riding. They actually have a law against driving high. Look into it.
