I hate to say that Rush is wrong, but there was immigration during the 1950’s. My Father, Mother, and older Brother came into the US in 1955 from Denmark, In the 3 years after that, 9 more members of our family entered the US from Denmark(aunts, uncles, cousins). But all the males were super skilled industrial metal working specialists (stainless steel}. Not unskilled refugees. And happily, they were all serious anti-socialists. But there was immigration.

I am trying to listen to Rush but he is as angry as I am and concerned that we might loose the country. We were at the precipice,then Trump reversed so many wrongs, gave us a leg up again, ad now here we are again, threatened by his possible collusion with the invader/ future dem voter enablers.
I’m taking a wait and see approach because running around with our hair on fire about this is really not productive. Give the monkey a little time and you’ll get a better show. Monkey in this context is the legislative body, BTW, and the show will start when Trump begins his negotiation via Twitter. Remember you saw it here first...LOL!!

What I think people mean by yesterday being like The Apprentice...
When Trump says he will sign whatever is sent to him, Trump is really saying that Republicans and Democrats have to live with what they send him, and he believes that self-interest from both sides in a mid-term election year will cause them to send a tempered bill to him, and not something that will inflame their voter base (and by extension, Trump's).
Trump believes that if Congressional Republicans send him a bill that contains full amnesty, it would be suicide for Congress and therefore, they won't do something that extreme.
