French president: U.S., Israel, Saudi Iran policies ‘would lead us to war'
Jerusalem Post ^ | Jan. 7, 2018 | JTA

Macron's statement lays blame on France’s allies rather than its estranged trade partner Iran for a perceived risk of escalation.

...“The official line pursued by the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia, who are our allies in many ways, is almost one that would lead us to war,” Macron said in his statement,.... which is unusual in that it lays blame on France’s allies rather than its estranged trade partner Iran for a perceived risk of escalation.

‘would lead us to war’

as if WAR was the worst thing.

John Stuart Mills said:

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things.

The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.

The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight...
nothing which is more important than his own personal safety...

is a miserable creature...

and has no chance of being free...

unless made and kept so...

by the exertions of better men than himself.

What he wants us to do is stab our true allies in the back to placate evil dictators, hoping that they will like us for it. Pretty much the French mindset since they surrendered to the Nazis.

They think with their butts.

Talk about up and locked. They need glass belly buttons, just to see.

Ah, the petit new Marshall Petain speaks. But our president rightfully doesn’t give a crap about a French coward. They cost us a lot the last time they took that stance.

You can lead a surrender monkey to war but you can’t make him fight.

I understand the concern...Their countries are being populated and run by our enemies and who knows how long before France and the rest will be on ‘their’ side...Not a pleasant place to be when we get riled up...
