Stephanopoulos was initially valuable; with unprecedented access to the Clintons and to the Obama WH....he'd phone Rahm Emanuel -- a fast friend -- from the “GMA” studio right before showtime....... news outlets “are notorious for hiring political operatives or children of pols, pretending they're suddenly journalists,” but no one was never fooled by Stephanopoulous.

Seriously, though...I guess ABC figured his connections to the Clinton Crime Family would pay off once Hillary became President, except it looks pretty unlikely that will ever happen. In the meantime, ABC has probably sunk $100 MM in dead costs into Little Georgie that they no hope of ever getting back.

And yet...ABC has to be careful about how they cut Little Georgie's cord. If they had done it the very day after the 2016 election, it would have revealed the whole corrupt ABC/Steph/Clinton arrangement for the cynical exercise it in fact was. But the matter has aged somewhat now, and ABC is probably looking at ways it can acknowledge its error and trim the payroll at the same time.

All these pictures of the Clinton Admin... They just remind me how fundamentally unserious they - Bill, Hillary, Stephanopolous, et al - were. The only things they took seriously were (1) how to get the Clintons rich and (2) how to sweep continuous scandals under the White House carpets. Its a testament to our nation that we survived eight years of them and another eight of obozo.
