It is an old story and was probably posted before but I couldn't find it.

Someone needs to go check on Grandpa.

He’s probably wandering around in his pajamas again.

Having the right to do so isn't the issue...the 1st Amendment covers that. It's mainly the setting but the message is also faulty...and I have the right to criticize the message and the way it was delivered under the very same 1st Amendment.

I don’t question anyone’s right to protest, even when I think they are wrong. What I do question is the right of people whose services I am paying for, to protest while in their employers uniform and on the clock depriving me of the enjoyment of the service I had paid for.

Gee, where are all the stories regarding the veterans and non-veterans as well that think it is upsetting to see people kneel during the anthem?

The statement they are making is that our great nation supports racism, that the flag, which stands for the constitution, represents support of unfair treatment of certain people based on race

It’s just not true. And by stating it’s true it causes dissension and separation of our nation

Every football ticket holder should walk out of a striding promoting a protest by allowing it

These protests spread ignorance.

People need to quit depending on the military to be the only ones defending the flag

one World War II veteran hosted a protest of his own — in his backyard.

And CBS News just happened to be there.

WW2 veteran is not an excuse-all status. Most men who returned from WW2 led decent lives. A few, however, as in any large group, went on to become murderers, robbers, and rapists - or went on to embrace loser ideas such as socialism and communism.

This old man, who supports the America-hating thugs of the NFL, appears, appears to be one the “greatest generation’s” lesser examples.

That’s it, use a veteran for your sick twisted efforts.

These people have not sense of right and wrong, or shame whatsoever.

These people have every right to protest

Another guy that misses the point. They can protest all they want. But people who don't support their message don't have to listen to it.

The opinions of combat veterans that happen to support the Left's agenda are to have absolute moral weight and be the end of all discussion and silence all disagreement on the matter.

However, the majority non-Leftist opinions of combat veterans are just the opinion of thugs who invaded other countries and killed people for no good reason, and old people who are behind the times.

Was this a typical call to the local TV network for a “look at me” coverage?

They have the right to insult and inflame their audience all day long. Their audience has the right to tell them to get the f out of the country all day long as well.

This is not and never has been a 1st Amendment issue.
It is and always has been primarily a workplace issue, ie idiot employees spitting on the customers and milktoast owners allowing it.
Contempt for the flag and for those who respect and/or defend it is merely the thugs' vehicle for outing their ingratitude and lack of character.
