Maybe a lot of Congressional Republicans were afraid to back President Trump because they had heard of the surveillance of candidate and President Elect Trump.

They were waiting to see if Trump would survive the coup attempt! (posted by rxsid on 1/05/2018)

Thanks, rxsid, for posting the above.

That has been on the back of the minds of a few of us.

Maybe, some key Republicans were warned by the Obama thugs, that our Intel had some bad stuff on candidate Trump, president elect Trump and President Trump!

So any support from them for Trump was weak if at all.

How many Republicans and Never Trumpsters bought into the Trump/Russia bs peddled by the Deep State and their mediots?

That may be changing as the Trump/Russia bs is dying down.

The other reality was there never was any election crimes nor meddling committed by candidate Trump, Trump the election winner, and the Trump election team.

Also, as they find out that surveillance of candidate Trump and his people was illegal, we may see the Congressional Republicans starting to support President Trump via the media.

Obama/Jarrett and their DOJ/FBI/CIA thugs committed some serious crimes of sedition with their surveillance of candidate and President Elect Trump.

Thanks for posting this.

The thugs in our DOJ/FBI will have a hard time dodging this spear toss at them.

Has anyone read the below linked summary on the Breitbart blog? It has some supposition, but does a nice job of laying out all of 5w allegations into a coherent timeline. Key excerpt - “Obama’s political operatives within the DOJ-NSD were using FISA 702(17) surveillance “about inquiries” that would deliver email and phone communication for U.S. people (Trump campaign). The NSD unit was working in coordination with the FBI Counterintelligence Unit (Peter Strzok etc.). In an effort to stop the activity NSA Director Mike Rogers initiated a full 702 compliance review. However, before the review was complete the DOJ-NSD had enough information for their unlawful FISA warrant which worked retroactively to make the prior FBI surveillance (began in July ’16 per James Comey) lawful. Rogers stopped the process on October 26th 2016. As a result of his not going along, Rogers became a risk; Clapper demanded he be fired.
Ten days after the election, November 17th 2016, Admiral Rogers travels to Trump Tower without telling ODNI James Clapper. Rogers likely informs President-elect Trump of the prior activity by the FBI and DOJ, including the probability that all of Trump Tower’s email and phone communication was being collected.
The transition team was set up in Trump Tower. The very next day, November 18th 2016, Trump moves the entire transition team to Bedminister New Jersey.”

The Wash. Post bannerline for their newspaper is “The Democracy Dies in Darkness”.

That's just a subtle jab at the last admin.

Beyond far-fetched...it is almost unimaginable that these same Clinton Deep State operatives did not perform similar surveillance on every Republican candidate and likely many Republican Party staff. This was a Clinton/Obama operation. They were taking no chances...why else would they have to break the law so often and long and practically openly to raise those billions of dollars? They needed to buy very expensive people and operations. Taking no chances that she could lose.

Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn’t read that. I remember hearing about Mike Rogers going to Trump Tower during that period after the election, but we never heard any more about his visit, and I didn’t know that the transition team had been moved to New Jersey. Now I know why Rogers is still in the job. The man’s a Patriot.

I'm glad I read your comment as I was going to include something similar in my post below. Knowing what we know now about the surveillance conducted by the Obama administration on foreign leaders, journalists in this country, etc., it would be very hard to believe that they didn't go after every one of their political enemies.

“They bagged most of the liberal US media (print, visual, audio), half of Congress (the half they have great influence over), most of academia, the talking heads of the Left, and even some Republicans/Conservatives.”

How different is that from the Global Warming/Climate Change garbage? These people WANT to be bagged. They run like cats after a laser pointer. Anything that plays into their sick world view is an easy mousetrap.

I seem to remember it being reported that Comey had told Trump and the media that the Russian collusion was nonsense. Meanwhile at the very same time he was using the Steele Dossier which he characterized as unsubstantiated to get a FISA warrant to tap the Trump campaign to investigate Russian collusion.

Senators make criminal referral of dossier author to DOJ (Christopher Steele)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

And at the DOJ............crickets chirping.

Steele should have been clapped in irons long ago as an accessory to espionage of the FISA court.

Meanwhile the liberal fascists in charge of the DOJ search for a Republican sacrificial lamb?

One only can ask, “When will the shooting start?”

I believe some of the crimes that have allegedly been committed, such as fraudulently and illegally using the powers of the FBI and DoJ to try and steal an election (i.e., coup d’état) are, if proven, TREASON PUNISHABLE BY DEATH.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Now that Nunes has finally been “read in” on the take-down he can play an even more vital role going forward.

You’re on the right track. The walls indeed are closing in on those who were part of Obama’s shadow government, all of whom have been attempting to undermine and compromise Trump, by any means necessary.

If what you say is true: then Sessions knew (or should have known) before he even was nominated that he could not be an effective AG. His accepting the nom and disabling himself immediately means he is a dishonest unethical swamp slimer at best, and very possibly a deliberate saboteur.. He needs to “resign” immediately and without comment, before he does more harm to the Republic.

Awesome. Get that British POS for interfering in US elections. Bad enough America has its own Deep State to contend with, we don’t need some bottom feeding spy from the UK messing with Americans as well.

Would love to see that happen. For all the crowing about how bad Russia is, I don’t see how the UK holds any more credence than them. They are just as foul, corrupt, and working against American interests as the former. Rarely do their interests serve America’s. (America bailed out the UK gold positions in the 1930s which swung the US into a Great Depression)
