Several stories broke yesterday:

♦Senator Ron Johnson gains copies of the manipulated/edited FBI small group “talking points” that exonerated Hillary Clinton despite overwhelming evidence. Johnson is a Senate Judiciary Committee member and remains focused on those specifics.

♦Senator Chuck Grassley has identified that former FBI Director James Comey leaked classified FBI information to the media to gain political leverage. Additional questions are now raised by the Senate Judiciary Chairman.

♦The FBI has begun a new review of the Clinton Foundation pay-to-play network during Hillary Clinton’s tenure at the State Dept. Investigators are questioning the people within the Clinton foundation about actions taken as a result of donations to the foundation.

♦A federal judge has ruled that Fusion GPS must turn over it’s bank records to the House Intelligence Committee. Including records of financial payments to journalists and media outlets to push the Christopher Steele “Dossier” story.

♦House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes will be receiving all remaining DOJ documents, without redaction, that pertain to the 2016 DOJ/FBI FISA court application. In addition eight key members of the FBI “small group” will be questioned by the committee.

♦The Dept. of Justice it reopening the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email use; and how both Clinton and her aide Huma Abedin used, shared and stored classified documents on their personal servers and devices.

♦Paul Manafort sues Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his probe due to a claim of overreach and operating outside the scope of his legal authority from congress.

Additionally, the DOJ Office of Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, is anticipated to deliver 1.2 million documents, from a year-long investigation into the FBI/DOJ, to House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte on January 15th.

It is easy to get stuck in the weeds on any individual storyline within the larger network of ongoing investigations.

It is a “small group” of the ones that have been set up to take the fall. The corruption at the alphabet agencies is breathtaking and should not be underestimated. Others just as corrupt will flow in to fill the void IF any of the “small group” go down.

H or She? Some have potificated Sundance maybe a woman. Regardless, for what Sundance and Jim Rob have done to keep the light of liberty burning has me humbled, and I am forever in awe. It has been a long slog since those two hippie scum put on suits and were sold to the American people. I would call it the “core group” within the FBI, joined by certain types in Justice and the CIA. Look at their positions - Strzok as head of FBI Counterintelligence, McCabe as Deputy Director, Page as a handy FBI/Mueller lawyer, Ohr as Deputy AG at Justice, Mrs. Ohr as the Fusion AG employee with a Russian language background and a ham radio license, possibly joined by Brennan and Clapper at CIA. I could go on; these people were in sufficiently high places so that those below them would know little or nothing of what they were doing and if they suspected it, were in no position to do anything about it. It will be interesting to find out which three journalists were paid by Fusion as part of the dossier effort. And now we see, as Roger Stone predicted, the attempt to skew attention to Trump’s mental and psychological conditions - they can’t succeed with the phony dossier, which is blowing apart, so they switch to another possible coup route. We must be vigilant.

Sometime this month, after the initial Inspector General Michael Horowitz release (Jan 15th), House Judiciary Chair Bob Goodlatte and Senate Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley will likely call for a Special Counsel to investigate the upper-level management of the FBI and DOJ, all divisions

Sweet. If there are any hidden players not yet revealed I think they'll be forming a line in front of Grassley's office to come clean. FBI DOJ -- "all divisions".

I don't think anything like this has happened in the US in over 100 years. The only historical precedents I can come up with are the years preceeding actual organized domestic armed conflict, i. e. the War between the States and the Revolutionary War.

The original term that was reported (before treehouse picked the story up) was “the skinny team.”

This was supposedly the small group of investigators, led by Strzok and McCabe, who McCabe and Comey announced would be handling ALL Clinton investigations, supposedly due to their importance.

This was far from normal FBI protocol. Investigations of anything Clinton was supposedly banned by anyone else in the FBI, thereby ensuring what has been exposed as their their predetermined exoneration would hold true.
