Unsealed Court Docs Prove Prosecutors Tried To Rig Cliven Bundy Trial

Unsealed court documents detail how the team of prosecutors tasked with convicting Cliven Bundy and his sons of crimes relating to a 2014 armed standoff failed to turn over potential exculpatory evidence to the court, The Oregonian reports.

The Bundys’ case ended in a mistrial Dec. 20 after Judge Gloria Navarro ruled that prosecutors violated the civil rights of the defendants by withholding evidence supporting the Bundys’ case.

Navarro is considering dismissing the case “with prejudice” and blocking prosecutors from retrying the case.

Her decision will come Jan. 8, according to The New York Times.

“There were approximately 3,000 pages that were provided to us only after we started trial,” Bundy lawyer Bret D. Whipple told TheNYT.

“I personally have never seen anything like this, especially in a case of such importance.”

Leah Sottile ✔ @Leah_Sottile Judge Gloria Navarro called a mistrial today in the #bundytrial — "the only suitable option" because of several Brady violations in government's handling of discovery. "A fair trial at this point is impossible."

11:39 AM - Dec 20, 2017

Those 3,000 pages include the Bundys’ requests for multiple federal assessments that showed the Bundy family was likely not dangerous.

Prosecutors called the requests part of a “long list of frivolous and vexatious pleadings,” until a government witness, under cross examination, revealed knowledge of the assessments in court, The Oregonian reports.

Govt still accomplished what they wanted. To destroy the defendants reputation and break them monetarily.

Sessions seems to be opening an investigation. He should throw the book at the prosecution if this is true.

I also do not understand why the SWAT raid against a funder of Scott Walker in the recall election that was set up by a liberal DA (I think) and a liberal judge that authorized it are not charged with the assault that happened in the early morning.

It wasn’t just about the evidence in this trial.

The witnesses that the prosecutors put on the stand were coached to present a picture to fit a case fabricated by the hiding of the thousands of pages of evidence.

If asked any questions that might force them to give an answer helpful to the defense, they consistently said “I don’t recall”.

There’s a sense that these witnesses brought in by the prosecutors including FBI and BLM agents were lying on the stand.

When Judge Navarro declared a mistrial, one of the dismissed jurors said he felt that a government witness was lying on the stand. The guy shook hands with and expressed his admiration for defendant Ryan Bundy outside the courthouse.

The law enforcement and criminal justice bureaucracy is the biggest and most powerful bureaucracy we have in Big Government at all levels.

So Triple E, these “prosecutors” were the one’s that your Alabama Rest Home Fugitive, “Little Jeffy” Sessions was heaping praise on a few weeks ago. How does this happen in this country where we’re supposed to believe in the rule of law? Answer: A corrupt Justice Department lead by a man who is lucky to be able to take a pee, put on his socks, and tie his shoes each morning! Sessions isn’t helping to drain the swamp, he IS the swamp!

“I personally have never seen anything like this, especially in a case of such importance.”

Actually we've all seen this happen in cases of such importance many times.

And they have a common denominator.

The BLM, the Bundy's, the Hammon's are all linked to HILLARY through the URANIUM ONE FIASCO.

So, how do you get rid of the bad apples while keeping legitimate law enforcement? I don’t know a good answer and don’t want to accept nothing being done.

RINO Jonah Goldberg wrote recently that he thinks “the Establishment” is running things for the most part in Washington DC in spite of Donald Trump being POTUS.

I agree that in many cases RINO’s are in place making bad decisions like Sessions.

Trump needs more like him to shake things up and more people at a grassroots level need to stop feeding at the RINO slop troughs of Fox News and talk radio.

They need to find out about real issues like this and take a stand outside the control of the political machine to force things to change.

The GOP does want to eliminate the regulations that drove Cliven Bundy’s neighbors out of business like “saving the desert tortoise”.

In fact Bush 41 was POTUS when Bundy and his neighbors were confronted by the government regulation of grazing land over the “desert tortoise”.

A BLM document in the hidden evidence released recently admits Bundy’s cattle grazing on the land posed no risk to the desert tortoise.

Look what happened to Ted Stevens in Alaska. Did any of them get prison time? Disbarred? Fired?

I will give food for thought.

Hating people isn’t an answer like happens when someone gets shot like a teenager in a big city or LaVoy Finicum on a country road.

But wanting some sort of justice for the taking of life is desirable.

In the big liberal city of Minneapolis when Justine Damond was shot, the cops went over her place thoroughly hoping to find something they could pin on her to give some sort of justification for the shooting.

That cop reaching across his partner and opening fire on her made no sense and the liberal DA’s recent statement about it being “hard” to find evidence against the officer was so shocking he had to back away from it.

Still no charges.....

The Republicans ran a lot of candidates in my state last fall touting law enforcement endorsements and I cringed thinking about LaVoy Finicum lying in the snow, dead, shot by an Oregon state trooper doing the bidding of Big Brother.

A lot of Republicans for judge didn’t get my vote in November.

Remember MLK had a similar problem. Democrats had their civil rights types like Hubert Humphrey and their racists like Robert “Sheets” Byrd.

That meant Democrats couldn’t do the right thing about race until Dr. King nudged them with a non violent protest movement that led to thousands of arrests and people dying.

Goldberg is correct, IMO. Trump is fighting the deep state at every level of government.

If Jeff Sessions was actually on our side(and on the Constitution’s side) he would have opened a civil rights investigation into that.

Lock up the worst offenders for 500 years for civil rights violations. The rest of the rats will get the message.
