Weve experienced a miracle in our day that a lot of us thought we might never see again.
The conservative base wanted a consequential President; one who could overcome a combination of our countrys decline, the neutering of conservative principle, the increasingly poor economy, the leftward lurch of our major institutions, the suicidal tendencies grafted into our country by the left, and the increasing mindlessness of our culture. Trump filled the ticket as a candidate.
Weve seen his Presidency for the better part of a year. We can now say emphatically, this is the most effective first year of any President in our lifetime, perhaps in a century.

MAGA!
Imagine of the party was with him. Imagine if the press was with him.or Imagine if it was Hillary./yech!
I know Leftists who think Trump is in way over his head — that’s why “he hasn’t accomplished anything”.
You just can’t talk to those people.
Why did obama’s years in office go by so slowly and Trump’s goes by so quickly?
Seems like election was last week.
Every week with obama seemed like a year.
Colored People time (CPT).
Sounds like you’re turning that old John Lennon song on its ear... which would not be a bad thing.
When zero was in, it was like having a daily root canal.
Having fun watching things go well does make time go by easier, yes?
McConnell has too much power as far as I’m concerned.
ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You didn’t... lol!!!!
root canal lol
I guess it’s relativity. Hand on a hot stove and such :)
Having obummer in office was like having my face on a hot stove for 8 years.
Here in lovely Amherst, NH, we have a cluster of the “beautiful leftist people” on Facebook, spewing the usual DNC talking points. They cannot accept reality.
They will sit on their butts, throwing their tantrums and crying about the worst economy in history, in the midst of plenty.
One in particular talks about how the Tax Reduction Plan, like the Reagan and Bush Jr plans, does nothing for the “regular” people. She really claims that the RATS know plenty about the regular people.
They are a lost cause. They do not understand that capitalism provides equal opportunity, while socialism provides equal misery.
Remarkably insightful/racist.
It's a thing. Google it.
:)
It’s official now that someone crazier than me is on the board :)
No wonder we get along :)
Goomba buddies!!!
absolutely :-)
Mr. Prentice recites decent list, albeit laced with a bit more ebullience than meets my tastes; I’d have gone in for more hard data, and a tad less rah-rah.
As much a champion of Trump’s Presidency as I have been, I remain wary of writers framing larger-than-life claims separate from the larger-than-life facts that substantiate them. That is a willy-nilly practice that serves only to invite similarly fact-free cannonades from the left. Don’t misconstrue my angle, here; I’m all in for some hearty in-house gushing over Trump’s accomplishments, I’m decidedly NOT at all tired of the winning, and I look forward to seven more ears peppered with shouts of MAGA!! But anyone publishing that sentiment in a public venue had better trace their effusive praise all the way back to well-founded sources so as to inoculate their claims against credible assaults from more cerebral quarters. The angry apes on the left (and among the establishment GOP, as well) are going to sling their feces in the tabloids regardless, but writers on our side who set out ironclad claims will best disposition their assertions to weather retorts from more pointy-headed op-eds about the country.
Stock market is in fact up. Economy is in fact better. GDP. Jobs. Manufacturing. Energy boom. Less illegals. Etc.
No fake rah rah at all.
That was the kind of thing of the 2012 election. "GM is alive. Al Qaida is on the run." Fake Slogans.
Not so here.
