RNC set to raise $130M in 2017 after leadership makes fundraising a top priority

The Republican National Committee is on track to raise $130 million in 2017 with Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel topping her predecessors’ fundraising totals for any off-year election cycle.

Mrs. McDaniel, the second woman ever to hold the job, made fundraising her top priority in 2017 after a tough presidential cycle gained the party a surprising White House victory.

“It’s a rewarding, though sometimes grueling job, but fighting for a party and president I believe in makes it all worthwhile,” Mrs. McDaniel said.

The RNC has already raised over $120 million, according to their latest filing, and one insider says the party is on track to finish out 2017 with strong totals.

While the monumental total is credited in part to small-dollar donations in support of President Trump, Ms. McDaniel has logged 88,000 miles for fundraising and remains in constant contact with donors, according to one Republican insider.

So the RNC is flush with cash while the DNC is broke. That's good. The $130 million dollar question is if they are going to use the money to push for candidates who support the President's agenda or more GOPe backstabbers?

The DNC is so broke they can’t pay attention and will need to borrow from the mob to compete.

The RNC and Trump, meanwhile, are flush with cash and zero debt.

The DNC wants to fight us but, they can’t even fight sleep...

The RNC has for decades been controlled by the Bush League who managed to select our candidates so that they all supported amnesty/open borders.
They have been actively preventing US from stopping the illegal alien inundation.
It’s unclear to me that the RNC is on the side of the citizens and the rule of law. Most of the people they have helped elect are not.

As far as I’m concerned, anyone who donates to the RNC after the ObamaCare debacle is asking to be defrauded by that group of phonies.

Not from me.

I give directly to conservative candidates I support so the RNC can’t use my money to kneecap them.

You’re right - the DNC is broke.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/21/politics/dnc-rnc-fundraising-october/index.html

Some individual candidates are doing well, but the DNC as a whole did terribly under Obama until Hillary bought them by promising to raise funds, and they have been terrible since the election. I think Barack Hussein may have done as much damage to the Democrat structure as he did to our country. I pray that the damage is permanent.

Too bad the RNC is going to use the money to defeat Trump Republicans in the primaries.

I’d rather have the rnc flush than broke and I’d certainly rather them have money than the dnc but I’d rather donate directly to candidates than a managing group. At the end of the day I want the least amount of Democrats in Congress.

The current leadership of the RNC was appointed by Trump as the incumbent President. Amazed at all of the comments who don’t know this...this is pretty basic knowledge for anyone who is politically savvy.
